Me and my group of friends rented tubes from them yesterday which also comes with transportation. One of the guys that was with us didn't speak any English and the girl that picked us up from the pick up location after tubing "assumed" he was just trying to get on the bus and and made a huge deal when he paid, signed the waiver and also got a ride there. It turned into a huge deal and she ended up calling the police on him and being racist and singaling him out and referred him "to the Mexican guy" so the cops came at pinky's tube and was just ridiculous. I dont recommend that place after how our friend was treated and had the police involved and she did tooo much. read more

I wish I had read the reviews before going. Our entire bus finished the river ride and had to wait an hour before the bus came. When a customer asked a worker about the wait her response was "we were busy". However, their competition was able to pick customers up in a timely manner. Unfortunately, there then became some inappropriate screaming between staff and customers. This happened on the bus and it was so uncomfortable. The driver was clearly angry and I feel that this effected her driving. After exiting the bus they were short and rude to all other customers as well. Will not return. Definitely will check out a competitor. Pretty poor service. The trip was 2.5hrs down the river, and we had to wait an additional 1 hour for the return bus to arrive and drive us home. The competitors' buses were there and took their clients away very timely. The competitors also picked up all their tubes via their hired help. When the Pinky's driver arrived, the driver wouldn't let anyone on the bus and made the customers assist in loading the trailer. Everyone else was left locked out of the bus, in 90 degree heat, standing at the bus entrance, with the bus exhaust being blown at them. Upon being allowed to board the bus, the driver thanked everyone for waiting and then stated there wasn't any way he was going to load the trailer himself. EXCUSE ME, WHAT's your job? There was also no A/C on the bus and the windows were all the way up. One would think if the bus is being left on, and the customers waiting to get on the bus with the exhaust encompassing them, the A/C would have been turned on to cool down the inside form the 90+degree heat. NOPE. Finally, the seats on the bus are cloth, so whichever wet person was sitting in the seat before you, multiple times before you, you will get to sit in the same moldy seat. read more

When we first arrived, the worker yelled at my sister to park the car at a new location. It was quite rude. The tube ride was great. Love the Muskegon River. The two worker that work today July 21st 2023 were not professional at all and were very rude. We waited an hour for them and they were not going to come. Another customer called and they said they did not know we were at the pick up spot. They said they were busy. When we arrived it was not busy at all. I think they forgot about us. Not to forget, the way the driver drove was completely unsafe. She almost drove us off the road. She was going WAY to fast. The two workers never said sorry and said she was driving the speed limit. The workers were arguing back to the customers that were upset. We definitely will be buying are own tubes and saving 20 bucks next time. We will be requesting to get a refund. read more

It's super frustrating that your trailers are not large enough to hold the cooler tubes and we have to cram on the bus with our cooler tubes too. It is so congested! Also, if you have a cooler be prepared to get on the bus at the end because there is not enough room for coolers. The new bracelet system is annoying too. We swam in the river because it was so hot and our pink ones came off as soon as we hit the water. Also, when we get picked up at the end it is annoying that the driver wont open the bus door until every tube is loaded. The most important thing is to get your customers to and from the river in the best, most convenient way. You can always go back to pick up the tubes but making everyone wait outside of the bus while all the tubes are loaded is annoying. We were told the next bus would pick up in 15-20 minutes. Seriously? We are back at 5:00 PM. Why not have a bus there al the time? Wisners is my favorite but they have been booked lately so we used Pinkeys but definitely prefer Wisners. Things to know: Day before you float.... Reservation and prepayment required!! 24 cancelation rule. Day of float... come prepared! Get there early! I suggest 30 mins before your reservation float. Bring sun screen and bug spray... Bring your own rope and scissor tying together. Pinkys does not provide these! Get two cooler tubes 1 for your cooler and one for empties and trash. The float.... The river is absolutely awesome very wide, well kept, great places to stop on the float for you to enjoy your picnic lunch. The tubes have backs on them that make the float very enjoyable. I wish they had cup holders but I'm not complaining. The tubes are high quality and have hand grips so you can get on and off easy. The end.... Ending the float was confusing a bit but we figured it out. GO PAST MILE 12 MARKER. Yes you'll need to pass mile 12 marker by about 15 mins or 1/4 of a mile... you'll go around a bend in the river. you'll look for a boat launch on the right side. You need to bring your tube all the way up the ramp to the bus and trailer. make sure your tunes are untied. Pinkys will drive you back to your car. Make sure to tip your driver. If they got you there safely and were relatively ontime they deserve a tip. Overall we had a great experience! We have done many floats over the years and this one definitely ranks as one of the best. Side note: Remember tube rental company's are not responsible for behavior of people on the river! read more

The price is right here (roughly $15 a head for our group of 20 for tubes plus drop off and pick up). We wound up wishing the tubes had drink holders, though. The pick-up afterward was prompt as well. Be sure to bring your own rope if you want to tie together (and grab some cooler floats for your food and drink). My friends and I went on one of the last trips this past weekend and in the midst of the fun we missed the first exit, we were told to stop at the next stop where we also struggled. Paris, the AWESOME bus driver told us she'd come right back for us as we fought the waves to get out. As we were waiting for Paris we were approached by the owner. The owner was extremely rude and condescending. Despite us having spent over $100 on this trip by patronizing her establishment we were not once thanked or asked how we enjoyed our ride. She told us "we'd better tip her driver since she has to pay her more".... to my understanding that is a part of being in business. We did tip Paris though, for her patience and being understanding. However the owner... she is extremely rude and I can't help but wonder if I'd had the same experience if the group of people I was with were of a lighter complexion. read more

all week it was warm and just like weather does it changes. on our scheduled day the weather was 61 degrees and way too cold to go into the water. we asked for a refund and they said we are only allowed to reschedule.... how is that convenient for people visiting from out of town and aren't able to reschedule? waste of money. read more

PEOPLE OF COLOR ARE NOT WELCOME HERE. When we arrived at this place of business, the employee who was working was not friendly at all! My husband asked her a question, and instead of answering him, she said nothing and pointed instead. (White girl, wears a light color glasses, and on the thick side) okay cool, (she doesn't have to speak). So here we are, down the river and now we're back. Before we left, they gave us an option to leave our car keys so we wouldn't lose them. That was awesome! But when we got back and I went to get our keys, the same young girl from before was there. I told her which keys was ours and for some reason, (a brown skin woman doesn't OWN a Mercedes Benz) she asked me if I was sure? the keys was mine. ? I looked at her funny and grabbed MY KEYS and left. Now it's time for us to pull out the park lot to go home, and what a surprise!!! THE POLICE IS NOW HERE! This police officer walks up to THE BENZ and asked us "Did you guys see a blue cooler?" Serious ma'ma ??? NO WE DID NOT! We have white ones. So long story short. I had to get out of my vehicle to show her. I honestly feel like the younger girl who works there, maybe the daughter of the company called the police of us because I own a Benz. We were told initially pinky's buses would be picking us up every ten minutes from the landing place after our tubing trip, however that was not the case. We waited over an hour with no buses among other people. There was not much explanation from staf. We were on the river yesterday and decided to use Pinky's for tubing. We liked the fact they have a headrest as opposed to another local company that does not. Check-in was quick, easy, and we were on our way. Workers explained where our stop point was, which is marked by a pink flag so we wouldn't miss it. Very efficient and we had a great time. If there was an option for 0 stars I would have used that. Pulled into the parking lot at 12:45pm and paid by 1pm with them telling us we were on the next bus. By 3 pm having waited with 35+ other people for more than 2 hours, while not an employed soul had any idea what was going on ( were they the local high school girls soccer team ??) we got on a bus and were told we would take the 3 hour trip having registered for the 4 hour. Needless to say the girl who probably just got her license dropped us off at Henning park with a flat tube and one "it's totally fine" tube for the 3 hour float. After telling her that they were both flat and not making it down the river she called a coworker to have another dropped off. That girl drove a car with two tubes to the site where we were parked at and continued to mean mug us and talk shit about us while they " figured it out". Another notable point, the group before us who had waited over 2.5 hours and not given the correct number of tubes after being dropped off demanded their money back and these girls said "ummm like no, we can't sorreeeyyy" We obviously said fuck that, and had her angrily drive us to the other drop off site we were supposed to be at 3.5 hours prior. We ended up enjoying the river and making light of their poor business standards and work ethic, took our time on the river and gave the tubes back 2 hours late. Honestly after that long a wait who the fuck wouldn't. Did I mention a family in a Ferrari and Porsche drove up and got on tubes right away ( I guess that is the amount of money it takes to get good service at Pinky's) Upon dropping the tubes back off we were greeted with even more teenage angsty emo attitudes. Great time and so accommodating! Pinky's prides themselves on customer service! Explained the checkpoints, brought us our cooler after we left it on the bus... super friendly staff and pricing was cheaper than the other places in town. I would definitely go back!!
