My husband and I had a very bad exprerience there a couple of years ago . After explaining I was diabetic she filled the basin for the pedicure . All she wanted to discuss was her decorating dilemmas . I was feeling very uncomfortable physically anyway she went on . I got finished the pedicure and we paid and my husband had already tipped them . I looked down and my feet were quite pink . The water had been too hot apparently and I got a slight burn. Quite annoyed I phoned them when I got home and complained to the owner. She ex to see me the next day and I explained I had been referred from a fried and we were travelling soon and all she was interested in was taking picture I guess in case we sued. No compensation nothing. I certainly wasn't interested in having any of her services ever again obviously. I told my fried who had referred me and she stopped going there also. Very poor business practice to say the least. read more

Horrible costumer service. My 13 year old daughter wanted to take me for a manicure for my birthday, made an appointment two weeks before the date, but when we showed up they were all busy. Finally one lady came free and did my nails and then once I was completely done my daughter had her nails done. So disappointed, what was suppose to be a nice time with my daughter was anything but. Like other reviews said, the language barrier was huge and the whole time we were there the ladies were talking to each other. I found this really rude. Will never go back. read more

Bad service . You have an appointment and they are always late . They try to fit too many people in at once . She stopped my pedicure to start someone's manicure . Then came back to me to sort of finish ... then went back to her . Also She put the toe spacers back in he drawer read more

got there 2 hours before closing, even called ahead, was rushed out of there 30 minutes before they closed, after waiting around! I didn't get close to what I asked for, and the color is uneven and messy! Decided to give them a try again after a bad experience 3 years ago, and WILL NOT be going back. unsanitary and unprofessional. read more

We were pleased to get appointments together the very next day. There were covid shields but we could still talk. Very happy that they had one-use only basin liners. Nice massage chairs. The problem arose when we were both finished our pedis and the aestheticians put little fans on our feet to harden the nailpolish. They went to wait on other clients, both of whom were getting gels. We waited and waited and waited - 10, 15, 20 minutes pass and we are still sitting their absolutely finished waiting for them to come back and turn off the fans. My friend finally reached down and picked up her purse and was clearly needing to get going and still we were ignored. After 25 minutes of this. She pulled up the arm to leave and the proprietor called over "just wait a few minute.." She said sorry but I cant, I have to get now. We eventually got out of there but it felt uncomfortable to have to almost create a scene. In sharing this tale we learned that this is fairly common there. Not sure if I'll go back or not... read more

This place used to rock, when Hannah (the owner) was in charge. Then she moved to Calgary and left her cousin Jenny in charge. Jenny was nice, though the appointment times were not prompt anymore under her - you'd often have to wait for them to do walk-ins, even though you had a scheduled appointment. Then Dianne left after a car accident and Jenny went on maternity leave (congrats), and left NO ONE in charge. The place is now a complete gong show. No one understands English enough to know what you want done, they take walk-ins over appointments even more, and if you have a complaint or don't like what they've done, TOO BAD. It's all $$$ and zero customer service. My friend, who has referred me and MANY other friends to them, is not going back, and neither am I. What a disappointment - they used to be so friendly, have such amazing customer service, and do such a fabulous job. read more

I had been going to another nail salon, and decided to try this one out as it is right by my home. I was excited to be able to walk to get my nails done! As my nails were previously done, I booked a fill, as normal. I was taken in late for my appointment, which wasn't an issue, but including the wait, service time, and payment, I was in and out in UNDER 45 minutes. I've been getting my nails done for years- I've never been in and out in that length of time,. That being said, if a good job had been done, the time would not have been an issue. However, I noticed that the "technician" was not even filling my white tips. She filed the surfaces, and simply put a top coat on. When she was done, I questioned her technique. She replied " Oh, the white tip is an extra $15!" (Which would have brought my total to $45 for a FILL). I was dealing with a sick dog, and trying to leave town on a weekend away, so I paid the $30 I was charged, and left. Big mistake! I realized how terrible they looked as soon as I got to my car. I took a photo of the work they had done, so when I returned I could show them. I came home from my two day vacation, and went back to tell them I was unhappy. I am not an arguable person, but I believe in good customer service. Assuming they did as well, I wanted to tell them I was not happy. The owner of the business immediately got defensive. I showed her the poor work, and she blamed me for the "damage". She also blamed my photo for being blurry (it was, but the poor work was still blatant). I even told her I did not want a refund, but for her to fix what was done. She refused, and blamed how terrible they looked on me. The lifting, the visible nail bed underneath, and my cut cuticles (yes, they made me bleed) was all my fault. I also mentioned that their business is one for pampering, and I felt like I had been swept through a factory. I left, feeling defeated. I will NEVER return here, and I am completely disheartened by their workmanship and POOR customer service. read more

It was a horrible place, never EVER go there! It's a mistake if you do! The ladies who work there ignored me, and went onto someone else, while I was sitting there for almost an hour, wondering if she was going to come back. I asked for French nails, and she said, "Give me your hands." very rudely. When I did what she asked, she kept trying to fool me into paying more than I was supposed to. When she got to the french tip part, applied it, and messily tried to make it smooth and curved. It was jagged and had clear spots everywhere. The only spoke Korean around me, and continuously insulted me. Also, my friend came with me that day, and she wanted just plain pink nails, but they talked over her, didn't let her say what she wanted, and said, "You want French nails!" She tried to say no, but they started on her immediately. They obviously wanted her to pay more than the normal price. When my nails were done, they left without saying anything and went to another lady's nails. I sat there for another 10 minutes, and they looked up and said, "You pay now." I was like, well okay then. At the till, they told me, "How much for tip?" Obviously, I didn't want to give them a tip, but they proceeded to press me for the tip, asking for 5 dollars. I said no. They were also very nosey and asked me who was going to pick me up, and when they were coming, which I thought was pretty weird. When I got home, my nails had turned a purpley-bruised colour. I was very disappointed with the finishing look. They are also very over-priced. I recommend NOT to go there. They've got a lot to improve on. Will not be going back. :( read more

Not worth to go there. They cant even speak english properly! Bad service. I came at 10am and was talking to a lady, so we discussed what i wanted to do with my nails. And we agreed with the price that's why i booked the earliest available time. And when i came back i waited for like half an hour, another lady will be doing my nails. It's fine for me though. Until this lady told me different price so i was just shock so i told her ur colleague told me this price. So from that onwards she started talking in a mean/higher tone voice i didn't even had a chance to talk while she was talking in an accent i couldn't even understand and was really embarass i wanted to leave. She was really rude! And when i paid i was expecting to pay the amount she told me but they charge me more. I just didn't want to argue so i just paid and leave cause i thought she will be histerically arguing with me again... i will never ever go back again here.. the worst nail spa here in abbotsford. read more

Decided to treat myself for a shellac manicure...... Big mistake! My nails were long and I asked to keep them the same... They were filed with no rhyme or reason now there short. The application of the shellac was very thin and translucent, I told the women that it was not the color I chose she proceeded to tell me it was a new color and we'd have to do 4 or so coats. Even after that the color was still sheer I told her I didn't like it and she then told me to come back the next day to finish it! No top coat curing nothing, I told her to just take it off and she told me to come back. The polish was even on my fingers. I did not pay for the service, obviously. Ended up going somewhere else and they had to remove it and reapply. Very poor costumer service, they don't listen to the client, and I do believe they water down there polishes to save money. I wonder how many of these "nail techs" actually are trained. Would not recommend this place! read more
