At the time, I remember thinking that this ice cream place was huge and futuristic, with the bright colors, colored plastic seating areas and the Jetson-like uniforms the servers use. Although it doesn't seem that big to me anymore, their bright colors and style still seems somewhat futuristic, meets the 90's.
There are many Bravissimo's throughout the Chile (41 to be exact), but this one is my favorite (apart from the awesome memories) as it has 2 stories with a large patio for their patrons to enjoy their large ice creams and slices of cakes as well as their savory dishes such as sandwiches, salads, hamburgers and wraps.
Bravissimo, is not just ice cream (although I mistakenly categorize it as such all the time). It is a perfect place to come after a long day of work to enjoy "once" with your family or during lunch time with colleagues, as they have some awesome daily specials and that are economic and good.
I recommend trying their Caprice sandwich, made with tomato, arugula, ham and mantecoso cheese with a "Tuscany salsa" (which is mostly olives and mayo) on rustic italian bread. I always ask to get avocado instead of ham and it is never a problem. Very delicious and perfect to accompany one of their coffees or teas.
The service is good however, the line to get ice cream is always pretty long. Don't forget to pay first and then get in line to order. They have a ton of different flavors, so ask to taste them (the guys behind the ice cream display are happy to give you as many tastings as you want).
Also, although I am an ice cream fanatic, I always have to remind myself that here (despite each scoop being very economic and therefor, more enticing to buy more), their ice cream is very thick and similar to a gelato, with intense and some super sweet flavors, so 1 scoop is always enough.
