The lake is so pretty, the paths are well marked. This would be a go to spot during the fall color changes as the reflections off the lake would be pretty much what dreams are made of. Lots of space on walkway that goes all the way around the lake so you never feel crowded. Shows like 1.3miles but I'd guess closer to 2.0 miles but it's all pretty much flat and groomed. If you're ever in this area, plan a good walk with your significant other, put your phone in your pocket, hold their hands and just talk about how amazing your life is with them in it. Personally, my wife and I are at the age that we don't use the park very often. However, when our grandkids were here this past weekend, they wanted to go to "that nice park" you took us to last time we were here (over a year ago). Millstone Creek Park offers a little of everything. Nice assortment of playground equipment; accessible; a variety of activities; sports fields; nature/wetlands area; picnic shelter and restrooms. Plenty of parking. My only suggestion for improvement would be the addition of a few more benches for the grandparents who bring their grandkids to the park.

I took the Fearless Falling class, held between 3:00 to 4:00 on Wednesdays and I learned so much. The senior lunch on Wednesdays and Fridays is only $4; you may choose to dine in or takeaway. Near the dining hall sits a huge cabinet filled with puzzles ranging from 300 to 1,000 pieces. Their generous policy is that you may bring puzzles or take as many puzzles as you like. The pool tables are always in use by smiling gentlemen and ladies. There is a quilt drop-in a couple of days a week. I'm impressed with how upbeat and cheery everyone is and I'm glad the city has created such a welcoming space for its seniors.

We found three bucks and a doe that seemed unconsidered with folks strolling by, which was a neat sight. Due to the proximity to the road, you do get a bit of street noise on the side nearest to that, but otherwise this is a great bit of nature to enjoy. There is a nice parking lot available, and this is located adjacent to a recreation center.
