TL;DR/The Short Version: Small Tim Hortons in Westboro. Very…read morelittle seating. Mostly for takeout. Great staff. The Long Version: This Tim Hortons opened up in Westboro to little fanfare on December 21, 2024. I have mixed feelings because when I first moved to the area it was filled with mostly small independent businesses, and with time, the big multinationals have moved in and pushed the little guys out. This specific location though, was a Dairy Queen, so in this instance, just trading one big company for another. I just feel the landscape of Westboro is changing and the opening of a Tim Hortons in the neighbourhood could be a sign of the big conglomerates taking over. The rents are skyrocketing so the small businesses are getting priced out and only the big guys can afford to stay/move in. I don't know, that might be a commentary about bigger issues for another time. If I put all that aside though, having a Tim Hortons in this neighbourhood has its advantages. You can get quick inexpensive food. Tim Hortons as a brand does have a special place in my heart since I used to hang out at Tim Hortons a lot as a teenager, since there was one just by my highschool. Admittedly, the quality of the food at Tim Hortons as a whole has gone down significantly since my highschool days though. This specific location is great, in comparison to other locations presently. It's just a bit small. The only seating they have is 2 small round tables each with 2 chairs. It's mostly for takeout. It's bright and clean. Staff are pleasant and cheerful. And they'll do little things like draw a happy face on the lid of your cup. Their steeped tea is delicious. I like it with a lot of oat milk and they make it creamy and delicious every time. The only thing is they don't have honey as a sweetener, even though it's listed as available on their app, but I've found that this is not uncommon, as I've had this issue at many other locations as well. I was going to rate this location 4 stars, but the staff have won me over, so 5 stars :) Street parking only. Review #50 (2025)

Located in the same plaza as the theatre and Booster Juice off Innes, it's easy to get to with plenty of parking. When I came in around 6:30 p.m. It was pretty quiet, except for a few customers. The store itself is lovely! It's super clean, organized, and has so many healthfood products, it's almost overwhelming. They have tons of bulk stuff, snacks, natural beauty products, and what I came in for - supplements. Prices here are fair - supplements are always pretty expensive. However, I like that they have good quality brands here, and the staff were wonderful. They had a massive sale over the weekend, so they were a bit low on stock. In particular, I was on the hunt for B2, and they didn't have any in stock. The helpful staff member told me they should be back in tomorrow. They also have a loyalty program that you can use at any of their five locations, and they give you a free copy of Alive magazine, which is always nice. I'll absolutely be back here to pick up supplements, and if I'm ever on the hunt for a specific health food item.

The veggies are really delicious, packed well and fresh. Great system with leave the empty container for pick up and they leave a replenished container. Love the variety of what's delivered each week. We also like that we can add to our order other items as we need/want them a la carte like chia seeds, eggs or yogurt. A huge selection. I think this happened recently, or I just noticed it when I was browsing the goods for a la carte items but they have also partnered with some bakeries and you can order fresh baked items to come with your delivery. My personal favourite are the baked goods from Wild Oats. The brownie, oh it's just so good! We also really love that they deliver to our neck of the woods in the country (Dunrobin). The deliveries have been on point and reliable. The Customer Service at the main office is terrific. I personally think the cost is about the same as the grocery store but a much better selection, fresher and it makes our life so much easier just having this big glorious box of freshness delivered every week. Plus, we are supporting local and not big box. I like that. Highly recommend.

Their prices are comparable to larger chain health food stores. I was super thirsty, so popped in for some kombucha. They only had 2 brands in their fridge: Pur Kombucha in a bottle, with 2 flavours ($4.49 each) and Live Kombucha in a can, with 3-4 flavours ($3.89 each). I opted for the bottle, but would have liked a bit more variety, but I totally understand that their space is small. I was helped by a super friendly staff, who was such a good ambassador for the store I thought he was the owner, but advised me that he was not. He told me about their fruits, vegetables, and fruit AND vegetables baskets that are available for home delivery. The produce is all organic and the price is pretty good ($30 for a small basket, $40 for a medium and $50 for a large). We already get a vegetable home delivery service directly from a local farm, but the fruit option is appealing. The staff member told me his name, but as I'm writing this review it has slipped my mind (sorry), but we chatted and he told me he is a commercial pilot and works at the store part-time. He was very welcoming and knowledgeable and an asset to the store for sure. The store is new as they only opened in December 2021. They are a great addition to the neighbourhood. No wasted containers this way and it's cheaper. Browsing the food areas are neat for those harder to find items. I always go in to browse and come out $40 in the hole. Thank God I don't have dietary restrictions (my middle name is carb!) Or else I'd be buying so much more from here.

One thing I really liked about this shop is its size - it's HUGE! It is bright and clean and has loads of variety. Lots of beverage alternatives (Finally, not your run of the mill soft drinks!) The shop made me think of my sister, who has specific dietary needs. While I was thinking of her, wandering the aisles, she called me! How's that for perfect timing? I think she'd love it here, and will have to bear this in mind for next time she travels this way. They offer a number of glutten free items, which even I wouldn't mind trying, like breads. These are just different that what you can buy ready made, or what you can usually make at home (out of regular wheat ingredients).
