For what the market has to offer now and at the price range of MCC you can definitely get more somewhere else. In our case it would've been The Vandy in Ballantyne. Bigger reasons are: 1. Putting the wrong type of caulking in the bathroom which was continuously cracking 2. Bugs that would appear out of nowhere inside. 3. Car break in's that felt like almost bi-weekly. With no intent by MCC to invest in cameras or even just entry gates. People having to buy steering wheel locks in an area like this is crazy! Clearly was a problem at this complex before we moved in. 4. Maintenance coming in to fix a leak we had to then leave the apartment for us to clean up their dust and paint mess. (We had a neighbor break into our apartment because they left the door open!) Again our recommendation is to look somewhere else. New apartments are being built right behind them. Or again check The Vandy in Ballantyne which was around the same price at the time we chose MCC. You'll get a lot nicer of finishes inside vs old beige walls that look pink with the light on, brown granite countertops, old style lights, and coil stove tops at MCC. As well as avoiding the common car break in's. The only good thing about MCC is sufficient parking, their front office/pool, and location. 2-3 stars should be their average because it's what they are. Average to below average vs competitors. We took what we learned from this place into great consideration when we chose our current complex. Hope this helps some people.

The rent was reasonable for our 2 bedroom so there wasn't much to complain about. The porch was screen protected which was great, especially during summertime. Management changed a couple of times but we didn't have any issues with them. The gym is tiny so you'll need to have membership elsewhere if you workout. The complex is old so you will hear your neighbours if they're noisy. They also have roaches roaming around which enter your unit even now and then...yuck! The prices went up while we were leaving so I wouldn't advise anyone to live here at those prices! They have upgraded the units but they're still old!

The two bedroom price was so good I had to jump on it. Staff were horrible at answer phone and emails. I had to make several trips after work to land this apt. Luckily I do payments online and never need to go into the office. I stayed here close to 2 years. Staff changed a few times but for the better. I dealt with previous tenants mail the whole time...never forwarded their debt mail. The pools were closed until the last Memorial Day I was there then closed shortly after. They are working this time to make the fixes since someone reached corporate evidently. The main gym is outdated but it had an indoor racketball room. Only available during office hours. Sketchy at night anyway in there. The second clubhouse was never completed. Most neighbors kept to themselves and respected package deliveries outside others doors. I had a neighbor with 2 families living next to me and bedroom tv blaring through the wall after midnight. Building numbers hard to read for cops. Landscaping got better. I have to also include Maintenance personnels, Telly and Ben (former worker). Telly is the hardest worker! Telly will come same day as your request. He'll even handle two request at once with prioritization! He is handy with his tools and come up with easy practical solutions to get the job done! Friendly and Professional. Ben is such a great worker. I requested a few things to work on while at home after getting false completions. Staff is supposedly low at the moment. He came in eager to help and was able to make repairs easy. Both guys know what they're doing and exceeded my expectations. They'll asked if anything else could be done while on the assignment. I've seen Ben would grab up trash outside the dumpster on the weekend. Thanks guys! I enjoyed my apartment and the amount of space. I wish I could take it with me and place it somewhere else. It was tough to let it go especially for the price/rate. I wish the balcony was half exposed and larger. Huge magnolia tree gave privacy but I could have had more light in dining and den. I showed him the dryer, turned it on, and began to explain the issue. However, before I finished showing the issue, Lazaro knew immediately what was wrong, "it generates no heat". That was exactly the issue! Lazaro and Ronier attempted to troubleshoot, but after a few minutes realized it was a moot point. It simply needed to be replaced. Lazaro gave me the expected timeframe for the replacement: 24 - 48 hrs. Fortunately, they were able to replace it the same day :-). They made sure that they carefully removed and replaced the dryers. Lazaro and Ronier were VERY personable, friendly, professional and knowledgeable as to the repair/replacement that was needed. Thank you Lazaro and Ronier for your excellent service!!!
