Parents, please do your research before enrolling your child at this center…read more I toured the school and received 3-5 follow-up calls encouraging me to enroll my 3-year-old son. Based on those conversations, I believed they were prepared to support him. My son attended for less than a full week before being expelled. Like many toddlers starting a new daycare, he experienced separation anxiety. Adjustment takes time -- often more than a few days -- especially for young children in a brand-new environment. Instead of working with us on a transition plan or offering strategies to help him acclimate, the school quickly escalated concerns. On his final day, I was called to pick him up because he ran from the playground area. When I arrived, my 3-year-old was barricaded under the front desk, visibly distressed, with tears and mucus on his face. He appeared to be in a full fight-or-flight response. He was suspended that day and shortly after expelled for being labeled "aggressive." There was no collaborative discussion, no behavior plan, no transition support -- just immediate removal. Every child deserves patience, empathy, and age-appropriate understanding. Toddlers are not teenagers; they are still learning how to regulate emotions in new environments. I did not feel that my son was given compassion, grace, or the opportunity to adjust. If you are a parent of a sensitive child, a child with separation anxiety, or a young Black boy who may already be unfairly labeled, I strongly encourage you to ask detailed questions about how behavior concerns are handled and what support systems are in place before enrolling. There are centers that believe in partnership with parents and child development -- I would recommend seeking those options.

I have ELC and you're not gonna sit here and keep switching the payments. I ALWAYS paid two weeks in advance HOWEVER The Mustard seed "A CHRISTIAN BASED SUPPOSED SCHOOL" took Advantage of my payments and I forked out MORE THEN I SHOULD HAVE! This school owes me more than $220, the girl on the phone told me that two payments of $220 was made on the app maybe accidentally then took what she said and turned around and told my bank that it was in the school that I paid the double $220?!? Make it MAKE SENSE! This school is by far a disgrace to the Christian community, and if the school can't handle the kids why bother staying OPEN. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. THEIR A RIP OFF and they'll abuse your children mentally emotionally and physically ESPECIALLY by teachers. My oldest is 4 with autism and adhd and was coming home saying negative things about himself and just downright depressed and ITS THE TEACHERS AND THE SCHOOL. Beware of this PLACE

We initially enrolled our oldest in a school with over 30 years of community presence, but it was a terrible experience. We pulled her out and managed without daycare for a while. By 2022, we felt she needed socialization, so we toured four different daycares. The moment we walked into Coral Reef Academy, we knew this was the one. The past 2.5 years have been nothing short of amazing. Every teacher at Coral Reef Academy is dedicated to creating a loving, safe, and nurturing environment. The administration has been outstanding. Our kids have experienced developmental milestones, from dealing with friends biting and challenging potty training to learning kindness and sharing. The teachers and administration have supported us through it all. We've experienced care across almost all age groups, from 1's to 4's. The kids learn essential skills like eating in a cafeteria, sharing, resolving conflicts, understanding emotions, and just being kids, all under the watchful and trustworthy eye of the staff. Communication is excellent through an app, and secure access with a code allows parents to enter as needed. The playgrounds are safe and clean, with staff ensuring proper hydration and monitoring the weather for excessive heat and storms. They celebrate various events like fall festivals, Thanksgiving lunch, Grandparents Day, Father's Day, Mother's Day, Scholastic Book Fair, Dr. Seuss Week, and bring in companies like Soccer Shots and Dancing Little Stars for extracurricular activities. We are moving, and unfortunately, their locations are too far for our schedule. We are deeply saddened that our girls will not graduate VPK here or continue with after-school or summer care at Coral Reef Academy. We hope that whoever takes our spot will see how amazing these teachers are and how much they love your kids. Your money will be well spent at one of the best daycares around.

Harris is Palm Bay's cash cow so Wellington has made its best effort to be a cream of the crop day care. Unfortunately - it's not. In all fairness I have yet to come across a day care that doesn't consistently provide such a germ-friendly atmosphere that even doctor's are able to buy their second vacation homes treating all the kids that come in day in and day out with fevers, rashes, and ear infections. My real problem with Wellington though is their deceitfulness. I love how they bait and switch the diapers you send in with your child. You send in Pampers, and maybe you'll get Kirkland, Hugggies, or Luvs back. This makes a difference especially since not all diapers are created equal. I was told my daughter's white leggings had a streak of "mud" on them because they were playing outside only to find out it was diarrhea. I guess they don't possess the sense of smell. What's more -- they didn't even have the decency to change her soiled pants. Thanks Wellington. My daughter went to Sickington exactly 12 times in 2010 (3 times a week for 4 weeks). She went to the pediatrician 4 times to treat ear infections. But wait..there's more! After four years of saying good riddance to them I get a call from a collection agency saying I owed them $135 dollars for a week of daycare. Sickington had all my information, forwarding address, and cell phone number when we moved back north. They had 1,460 days to call me and resolve this situation without having to escalate it to a collection agency. And they didn't. Maybe they were just busy switching diapers around to get their billing squared away. Pro: We're not there anymore Con: Horrible daycare

His vocabulary has exploded since enrolling here. The teachers also offer numerous helpful suggestions based on their extensive experience, for everything from treating stubborn diaper rashes and setting sleep schedules, to caring for ear infections and potty training. Everyone is very friendly and caring, and frequently ask about how things are going for both the kids and the parents outside of daycare. I can't recommend Wickham KinderCare enough! From the caring, knowledgeable staff to the clean, amazing facility to the numerous learning opportunities for the kids, it's a top-notch daycare center and a place that you can trust will treat your children like family.
