These people were paid for their services yet made me feel as if I was bothering them and was intruding because I wanted to be involved with my Dads funeral. Everything went off without a hitch. The vehicles were nice, of course, and the canopy and chairs made the graveside service comfortable even for the aging members of the bereaved family. The viewing in Metcalf's mortuary facility was very well done. Everything possible was provided for the comfort of the widow and family, every need was anticipated. The chapel was the ideal place to have the memorial slideshow running, but would also have been perfect for the funeral itself if we had not had an LDS chapel to use for the funeral and luncheon. If I lived in St. George, these people would definitely be my choice for my own send-off when I go.

It seemed like they threw everything together last minute. There was no obituary on their website people were telling me they couldn't find any information. I live in California and I told them I would pick up the death certificates when I arrived and not to give them to anyone else. They were very good reasons for that. There was a man who went there five times trying to get my mother's death certificates and was handed over to him. Just caused a huge problem! He was able to get into my mother's bank account and now his daughter has cleaned out my mother's accounts. These people have no relation and now I'm going through living hell since my mother's passing trying to recover things that were stolen. We also had my father's service here back in 2000 there were no problems with his. I think this place is really going downhill over the years.
