Due to COVID-19 the center voluntarily shut down although deem essential by the state in which they are permitted to stay open. As the parents who have kids who attend this child care facility received an email from the owner stating "Many childcare centers remain open as they are deemed essential. Despite this Bloom chose to voluntarily close to protect the health and safety of ourselves" which is totally understandable. Upon reading this information , I spoke with another family who also attends who notified me when she asked about all the money every child has already paid for the rest of the month (70$ a day). Asked if the money already paid is being used toward future care when the facility reopens. Terribly was informed all families would NOT be getting the money already paid carried over and we would lose out all that money. Espically full time users like myself.From March 17 till the 31st. This is totally unacceptable and sad to know a community who keeps the establishment open by attending is robbing us essentially. We should be able to get atleast half a refund if not a full refund on the days we already paid for that they are closed by choice. Instead they are opening an outside child care facility in March and charging us all over again ofcourse because if they did not reopen in March they would get no income as us families only paid for April. Now they said they realize 3 year olds actually are capable of social distancing! Yeah ? In what world!In a time where everyone is being forced out of work , not voluntarily out of work like them, I think it isn't the time to be selfish. I want my money refunded or carried over to a later date when they are open again. You don't just get to decide you're closing because you want too and disregard the hundreds of dollars people already paid for those days.im not saying they shouldn't close if they want too but they should refund the families.

When my husband and I first met Chrissy, we felt at ease and at home in speaking with Chrissy. Both my husband and I are teachers so we asked a lot of questions and Chrissy took the time to answer all of them for us over a two hour time span. I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about Chrissy. She is an absolute angel who has a heart full of love. Chrissy a mom herself and former teacher, truly understands how crazy life can get. She was willing to accommodate our early morning schedule to care for our daughter. My daughter absolutely adores Chrissy and her early morning love and patience. I am able to contact Chrissy and she responds within minutes to let me know how my daughters morning went. I would highly recommend Sunflowers Children's Academy, it has become a home away from home for my daughter. The staff employed at Sunflowers are all very caring, nurturing and treat their students as if they were their own children. Sunflowers Children's Academy is a warm, nurturing, safe and extremely clean learning environment.

Alternatives has Trained Specialists in EVERY classroom, and these ladies love all their kids equally. The other "school" had only a few women who had 'some' professional teaching education, but most do not. At Alternatives, they have Trained Therapists in every single class, and offer Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and much more, AND the school day is from 9 am - 2:30 pm, so parents can accomplish things they need to get done, and they offer aftercare from 2:30 - 3:00.
