My daughter has been at pine tree for three years now and I can't say enough about the amazing care she has gotten over the years. The Carr family goes above and beyond to provide great activities for the kids; my daughter is continuously coming home showing me her new soccer skills; or Irish step dancing from St. Patrick's day. Horrible place i can't take my previous review down so I'm putting this one if I could give this place negative stars I would my child would cry to the point of vomiting at drop off and other parents would tell me he's crying every single time that he would see him when I asked at pick up each day al I received is "he is good" the infant teacher left because she was told "you can't go into the toddler room because you tel parents what go on there" I have multiple complaints and regret giving a good review prematurely... my kids were there for only about a month and that was the worst month of my life they gave my son to the wrong parent and than asked that parent if they were sure I only heard about this because the other mom confronted me the people at pine tree have never told me they also owe me about 750 dollars because they got paid from the state while I was paying them telling me that they would back pay it and refuse to answer my calls .. they just had an infant choke die to legos in the infant room they had at least 20 kids in my sons class with onlynone teacher and it was her second day... I witnessed this teacher pick a child up by his arm making him scream in pain they have cameras which they tel you that you can view at any time when you enroll your child but I was refused to watch the cameras on mul attempts this place is TRASH and shouldn't be allowed open read more

Love this Nursery. My grandchildren attend here and I love being able to see pictures of them getting exposed to all of the professional people that come here. They love big loud trucks and always come home with a smile on their face when the day care providers have the big diesels stop by for a visit. Animals are a close second to the trucks. As good as my children are with sending me pictures, I love looking at the Facebook page for the regular updates and smiling faces. I wish I could visit more often but for the times in between, these pictures are a great start. read more

Awesome place. One child attended 12 years ago and one 4 years ago. Same ownner for both children. Everybody is cpr certified and goes to continuing education monthly. Teachers communicate with parents daily. I felt like my child got the best care and I would not feel comfortable going anywheres else. My nephew currently attends the daycare and my sil couldn't b happier. She recently had money issues and the owner was so understanding and helpful. They have a website and r in the process of renovating the playground. There should b a pine tree in every town! read more

I truly feel that everyone who is in need of the most upcoming,caring,affordable and trustworthy daycare and are in the Riverhead area should absolutely consider Pine Tree. I moved to the Riverhead area about a year ago and after a while I needed two days of daycare service for my son who was about a year and half and was extremely speech delayed. Before going for my first appointment to see the daycare facility and to meet the owner and staff I did my research and read reviews. I had come across the "filtered" review that is beneath mine from June of last year. I will admit I was concerned after reading the review and not to mention there was only one other review that I had found. I decided to make my own decision and see for myself. Mrs. Carr, who is the owner took a half an hour out of her own time to speak with me the first time I had called to go over any concerns that I had as well as she had explained everything. By the end of the phone call that review that claimed she was "money hungry" just didnt seem realistic. When i visited the daycare it felt like home. My son immediately began to play and really grew to like one of the teachers, Ms. Amber (who is absolutely amazing with the kids and is such a pleasure to talk to). I decided to enroll my son two days a week. My son is extremely attached to me and I knew there would have been a difficult transition process. Believe it or not there wasn't. My son transitioned in 3 weeks and only going 2 days. Unfortunately due to financial issues that came forward I had to take my son out after a month. I was so upset because I found a place that I trusted with my son and that he truly enjoyed. The staff is so warming and Ryan Carr the owner, works with you with anything. Even with my financial issues, Ryan and Michelle Carr both worked with me to where my son could still go for half days and such. I dont see any other day care facility doing that. Thats when I looked back at that review that stated they were so "money hungry" and I laughed to myself. There is no way that it could be true. Pine tree was basically watching my son for nothing and he was getting the best treatment. He even started to say his first few words within that month of attending. Now they improving their facility and extending their services. A new playground for the kids, music throughout the place, inside and out. As well as getting new computers and reading programs. Im so upset that i cannot send my son there anymore. I am currently in the process of moving out of state and i am praying that I can find a daycare place like Pine Tree.. I know its difficult for parents to let go of their children without worrying. Please if daycare is what you need check them out, go for a tour and really get a feel for yourself.
