The staff is generally friendly and accommodating, thought a bit slow (time counts when those process are running out!) The popcorn is always warm and fresh, and they have a great stock of snacks and candy available! The theatres are usually really clean and the seats are very comfortable; the last time I went my seat was broken however and would not raise the footrest. 5 Stars "Back to School - 1800s Style!"…read more If you've ever wanted to step into a real-life episode of Little House on the Prairie--minus the homework--this little schoolhouse delivers in spades! Tucked behind the Union County Heritage Museum, this one-room gem is like a time capsule that smells faintly of chalk, wood smoke, and straight-up nostalgia. The moment you walk in, you half-expect to be handed a slate and get scolded for not knowing your multiplication tables. The desks? Tiny and creaky in the best way. The blackboard? Authentic. The whole vibe? Pure Mississippi history magic. Bonus: They sometimes do living history days, and if you catch one, it's like the whole place comes alive with old-timey sass and Southern charm. It's educational, yes--but also totally Instagrammable. Great for kids, history nerds, and anyone who enjoys a little "sit up straight and mind your manners" energy with their museum visit. Highly recommend adding this to your North Mississippi day trip bucket list!
