The full kitchen was fully stocked with most dishes, pots and pans included. I loved the fact that each apartment has a balcony and although mine faced the parking lot, I also had a corner unit in which I had a window that faced the nearby restaurant, bridge, and water. Each apartment also comes with comfortable furniture, tv's in the living room and bedroom, mobile air conditioner and fan. One of my favorite features was the faux fireplace with heat. The outside deck however was definitely my favorite place to be. It was gorgeous day or night and I especially loved hanging out with the various wildlife there. There was an abundance of seating areas, grills, and several fire pits. Inside there is a community room with sofas, tvs, tables, a kitchen and what I really like is that when those who have stayed here leaves, they'll bring down their extra things such as rice cookers, brita water jugs, various spices, flour, etc for those coming in to take as needed. I was able to snag a rice cooker, aloha shoyu bottle, flour and so much more and whatever excess I did have, I put down there for future users to take. Finally there is a community laundry room and a gym although the gym is pretty minimal and basic, it is still nice to have. If there is one thing that is left to be desired, it is the parking. There really isn't much parking for the apartments but there is some street parking. Still with everything else going for it, it really is a small price to pay. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it for sure! Thank you to the staff there for such a wonderful stay!

It was surprisingly nice and clean. I would stay there again if I ever go back to Bremerton.read more

Rob from maintenance helped me with my pilot light when I first moved in ..... It was after hours and all I had to do was pick up the phone and call and Rob was there within minutes to help me get my gas heater on. The staff are not only friendly , but helpful. My neighbors are all friendly and respectful. The laundry room and outside are kept up. The parking is with Walter Bale decal sticker, however once in a while you will get a shipyard worker parking here. I was going to try and move into another Walter Bale property after 4 months to improve my credit rating , however, the staff is also very informative and delivered a news letter , that informed us tenants of the Experian Rent Bureau which is reported on only positive rental payment history :) I now have changed my mind on moving , and I'm staying put here at Kitsap Inn. Perhaps I will be here like the previous tenant before me , that lived here for 10 years.

Good distance from Kitsap Naval Base, Silverdale and Gig Harbor. A nice forest atmosphere. Our deck looked over the woods with a nice pond, felt very private. Very dog friendly. There is a nice sized fenced-in dog park on the property and the public park across the street with walking tails and fields. The complex says no "aggressive" breeds but we saw a lot of people with pitbulls and German Shepard's. People don't pick up after there dogs and there is usually trash everywhere on the grounds. Dumpsters are always overloaded. We had black mold on our toilet when we moved in but once found, maintenance came right away to take care of it. We didn't have an issue again until the winter time since we had the windows closed but again maintenance came right away to fix it. The grounds keepers were great and friendly! Poor amenities. Gym is super small. A couple of machines and treadmills but no free weights or room for other exercises. There are two pools, One indoors and one outdoors. They are closed whenever the office is closed which is pretty frequently. Any major holiday (memorial day, 4th of July, Labor Day) when normal people would have the day off and want to use the pool, you can't. Most neighbors kept to themselves. There was one nosey older lady who sat and watched people from her parking spot and would get mad if your car was too loud. We had 3 different neighbors across the hall in the time we lived here and all were great expect the last couple who were constantly fighting/yelling as well as smoking pot which would blow into our apartment since the windows were next to each other. No A/C so windows open is a must. Walls are super thin. We could hear our neighbor downstairs snoring at night and others neighbors what they were watching on TV or banging around in their kitchen. Overall, we had a good time living here. My husband is active duty military so that's the reason we moved away. Thank you Mariner's Glenn!

This "hotel" (actually apartments) allows both cats and dogs which we found VERY accommodating! Because we needed to stay for for an extended period of time, having a washer and dryer, a FULL kitchen (complete with pots, pans, silverware etc.) with DOUBLE sinks in the bathroom was a luxury that we truly appreciated! In addition, each apartment has a fireplace which we got to make great use out of! The only negatives I have to say is that there is no room service for guests staying less than two weeks (you have to take out your own garbage which is quite a walk away, wash your own towels, make your bed, etc.) and access to the gym and other facilities is NOT 24 hours. You have to wait until the office opens at 9 to use those facilities which is a big deal to me. Other than that, the neighbor's were great, parking was suitable (they give you a parking pass and ACTUAL keys to get into your room) and they have indoor courts! Nearby shopping and food include Wal-Mart, Safeway, AMPM and Chevron (within walking distance), Burger King, Quiznos, Taco Time, Starbucks, Dominoes, etc. Overall, it was a good experience!

There are three apartment buildings, an outdoor tennis court, "park like" settings and a multi-use room (with pool table,ping-pong table and sauna) that make up the property. A good mix of spacious single floor apartments and two-story loft type apartments. I have not experienced any extended problems with management or neighbors. A very diverse group of neighbors has emerged since I moved here. Long term residents mix well with military families in transition; retirees mix well with those still working and a few teens mix in with their younger siblings/neighbors pretty well. The few (truly few) issues that have come up we're taken care of immediately by our very capable managers Vickie and Virgil. The apartments are clean, sanitary and inviting. The small maintenance staff stays active with updating units (as people move in/out) and taking care of landscaping and general upkeep of the property. I will say that in the two years that I've lived here, it's been nice to see dumpster coverings being replaced when worn; pet waste sites established and the steps in front of my door have been swept and cleaned several times (unlike previous places I've lived). There always seems to be some sort of update going on without causing undue harm or inconvenience to the residents. A very "Chill" place to live, everyone seems to respect each other. If you're looking for a nice place to live....check back on the availability of our Orchard Park Apartments!!!

If zero stars was possible this place would take the cake. Welcome to hell…read more Within minutes of moving in, my mother and I smelled natural gas coming from the laundry area. We hadnt even ran the laundry machine yet. We called emergency maintenance who came out and couldnt figure out the smell but it was coming from the piping. Unfortunately when he put the piping/tubes back in the wall they were not secured and they caused a massive flood in my unit which leaked into the bottom unit below mine. They didnt properly clean or repair her unit or treat to prevent mold nor test for it after she asked. I was promised my carpets would be shampooed. They never were. I submitted several maintenance requests that were never fixed. Leaking showerhead, broken blinds, broken drawers, improperly caulked kitchen sink and bathroom causing it to look absolutely revolting and showing how dirty and filthy it was underneath. They were covering it up with excessive amounts of caulk. Broken screen on patio, broken closet and laundry room doors, mold on the window in kitchen and present on the front door, flickering light in the living room despite replacing the bulb twice. Eventually the maintenance guy came and replaced my shower head but I had already stopped the leak. I replaced the blinds myself. And I had to carry the laundry room door panel outside. The laundry room door fell on me numerous times and once knocked me physically out cold. Which is a serious safety hazard for me and my children. It left my children essentially unsupervised while I was passed out from being hit with a heavy door while I was bent down. My refrigerator also constantly freezes over despite any attempts to rearrange the fridge and freezer and create good flow. I also did not even have a freezer shelf for nearly the entirety of my lease after I asked for one several times. My maintenance orders would get marked as completed even though they werent being completed. The office staff are even worse. Liars doesnt even begin to describe them. Chris told me that I was fine in regards to my dogs and following the rules. He knew I was struggling and that I hired someone to walk the dogs while I was at work. And it appears that someone was allowing their dog to poop near my building and I got blamed for it. Despite it not even being me. I also hired a company to come out and have the poop picked up by my building as it was a repeat issue that multiple people had their pets use the potty near my unit and building and didnt pick it up. The next day I got a threat to evict me if I did not get rid of my medical (not ESA dogs, seizure and cardiac alert dogs) Then after several months of asking, I brought up several times that I had the legal right to withhold my rent if they continued to not fix the issues in my unit. A few more weeks later I asked Emilia to make a fake pay or vacate notice for me to use for getting the public assistance office to stop taking so long with my checks. Well she used that to file a legal eviction but failed to mention that I was not going to pay rent as I stated several times until the maintenance issues were fixed. The sewage smell continued constantly and was so bad I had to keep windows open and my unit cold and run heaters which cost a lot of money just to get fresh air, and then the subfloor. It was cracking. I have a hole and several cracks and the concrete is no longer stable or secure. I should have been moved into another unit immediately. But I was told, not in writing, that I would have to reapply, requalify, and re sign a new 1 year lease. Which I didnt want to do because I wanted to buy a home and not be locked into the lease. So, I have been picking up other owners dog poop all around the complex including by my building, and I sent multiple emails giving the landlord specific time like 10 days to get a contractor out to my unit to inspect. They want to pour concrete over the holes to cover it up. Thats not how you fix what is happening to my unit. You have to rip up all the subfloor and redo the supports and subfloor. Now today I received an official notice of eviction that my tenancy will not be allowed to be renewed and that I must vacate my unit within 60 days. It says that it is for business or economical reasons. But does not specify any other reason. I suspect they are going to do the landlord special and cover up the holes and cracks with more concrete. Putting more stress on already weakened and compromised subfloor. Whomever moves into unit S204 next, be aware, this unit I have been told by multiple contractors who are unfortunately too afraid to go up against a major corporation and say what they found, but they have told me my unit is unsafe and that we could fall through the floor. However they did make a joke that "at least [im] small and lightweight, so maybe [ill] get lucky and wont go all the way through". Emilia also said that once KCR sent the checks she would take off all the late fees.

We have a 2.5 year old that we didn't want ever around smoke and it's really disappointing because we have notified the front office about this issue multiple times and have seen zero results. Their dogs also poops everywhere and they don't ever clean it up. The parking policy is also to move your car at least once a week to keep spaces open for people and there's a few vehicles not following this policy and the office really doesn't seem to care. We have been begging the office to do something about these issues for about 2 months now with little to no results. We are absolutely at our wits end after the neighbor told us to go F*ck ourselves tonight. It would be nice if this complex cared about it's own policies
