The other 2 involved special order furniture and both times the delivery time was longer than expected or promised. On April 4th we ordered a bedroom set that we were told would take 8-12 weeks. On July 7th we were told it was on the truck enroute from Pennsylvania. On July 28 we were promised delivery no later than the 2nd of August as the truck was due on 7-31 or 8-1. Matt promised that it would be delivered Friday or Saturday depending on what day it arrived. The freight wasn't delivered to People's until Saturday morning. By the time delivery is finally made it will have been 18 weeks from purchase to delivery. After calming down I realized that the problem didn't lie with People's primarily. The reached out and explained the situation and satisfied me that they did their best but the delivery from manufacture to them was out of their control.

Bought a couch, bar stools, coffee table, a rug, a stove and a couple of washing machines from…read morethem. All turned out excellent quality except the cheap LG washing machine. It was wired wrong from the get-go and didn't use cold water. Most of the time service was good, but there were a couple of disappointing times over the years. I am sure that was because of the salesperson. The last sales person we had, though, was excellent.

I wish I had more time to go more frequently to see what's new. The prices were good with the most pricey items being locally made candles but I still bought one to gift as a hostess gift over the holidays and recommend purchasing because they're in Mason jars, have fun names for the scents (something along the lines of Pumpkin Spice Slut, lol) and smell amazing!
