    This is the second time we have shopped and made a purchase at Ashley's in Meridian. The first time…read morewe purchased 2nightstands, a chest of drawers and a dresser as well as a large area rug. We had trouble receiving the order in the designated time ; delays and excuses during the whole process. Given the first experience, we decided to try another purchase. This time we bought 4 counter stools and some wall art. At the time of purchase we were told the art was in stock and should be a couple weeks for delivery. The stools were going to be ordered and should be 4 to 6 weeks. Two weeks passed and I hadn't heard from anyone about my delivery. I called and went through an automated phone system HELL. Then when I was FINALLY able to speak with an agent (real person) I had quite a bit of difficulty understanding AND being understood. My order, which was placed in mid July wasn't going to be delivered until the 16th of September (wall art, which was supposed to be in stock) the stools were still on back order. I tried calling the store to no avail (got the same automated horror system I had previously experienced) We went to the store and dealt with the manager Mike (he gave us a card with his contact info) We had previously worked with him on our very first order debacle and here we go for round 2!!! He checked the order and confirmed what we were told. Wait a tad bit and we get a text to schedule delivery. It's for the wall art. WHERE ARE MY STOOLS?????????? I went through another automated phone hell to speak to someone I was unable to understand nor do I think he understood what I was trying to say. The gist was that I was going to get my money back because they didn't know when or if they were going to get my stools in. After about a week I didn't see a refund on my credit card statement so I called the manager, Mike. I didn't get a response from him so a couple days later I went back to the store to see him, AGAIN. I've gotten my refund for the stools, l'm still waiting for my wall art and I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED, FRUSTRATED AND JUST PLAIN ANGRY at the experiences we have had shopping at ASHLEY's. I have made purchases at RC WILLEY, De Meyer's and CHF; at no time was there a problem with any of those orders. The experiences with Ashley's has not only cost me time, it's tried my patience and understanding. I have lost precious TIME waiting for numerous items to arrive late or in the last case, not at all! If I could give you a rating of 0, I would. I've never made it a habit of paying our hard earned money and kissing anyone's anatomy! And that's the way I feel about my experience with Ashley's!
