I was in the South Lake Tahoe area and walking around with my husband and our friend on a Saturday morning. When our friend looked up different places in the area to see what might be worth checking out, he mentioned that there was a smoked meats place. Immediately I was down to check it out. As we walked in, we were greeted by the employee behind the counter and a variety of jerky options in the case and along the walls. I tried a handful of samples before it dawned on me that the flavors and products seemed so familiar. I was completely oblivious that there were photos and references to their original location in Bishop (which I visited previously and really liked). I got a 1/4 lb of the sweet and spicy brisket to snack on and it made an excellent driving snack.

He answered all our questions, gave us some really yummy suggestions and was overall wonderful to interact with. Inside initially felt really empty - but honestly it was rustic and super spacious. The jerky was all so yummy. We tasted a bunch of different kinds and even different animals. I've really only ate beef jerky but my favorite ended up being an elk jerky I can't remember the name though! I definitely would come back again when in the area!

This place is tucked away maybe a minute from Highway 50 on Kingsbury grade. They have a plethora of breakfast and veggies options, with a good selection of bagels. They have matcha, seasonal latte options, different cream cheese flavors, and a decent selection of juice, sodas, and tea. I came in HUNGRY and tried the Goombah sando with added turkey. It was crispy, delicious, and HOT. Oh my. Basically, a glorified caprese salad on a bagel. It was oily, messy, and wonderful. I got help ordering from Shannon, and she was a great help! The seating area is a tad limited for the lunch time rush I was here for. They have a couple couches in the middle that are nice and cozy, and a mix of tables that can fit 2 up to 6 people. It seems to have a good flow, but I wonder if there's a different or better way to accommodate more people to dine in. It seemed like most to half the people that came in got their orders to go, and had there been room to accommodate them, if they would have stayed. Overall, a friendly and high energy place that makes bomb bagel sandos. I wish this was closer to my stomping grounds in Reno, so it makes a special trip worth it to the Tahoe Bagel Co!

Service when ordering sorta felt like the employee didn't want to help us. And super expensive for small bagels and coffee. The indoor seating and parking lot is nice. I personally will never be back here.

This charming Italian restaurant is exactly what every neighborhood needs -- warm, fun, and full of that authentic local vibe. The prices are incredibly reasonable (and if you're a local, be sure to let them know -- you'll get a wonderful locals discount!). On top of that, the portions are generously large, so plan on asking for a doggy bag to take leftovers home. The food is top-notch Italian done right. I love that the owner and chef aren't afraid to take risks and regularly change up the menu with creative specials. My absolute favorite is anything macaroni-related, but the seasonal watermelon salad is pure perfection -- light, refreshing, and absolutely head-over-heels wonderful. I'm already counting down the weeks until it returns next month! The cocktails are another highlight -- fun, creative, and clearly crafted by talented hands (they must have a mixologist on staff). Every sip is a treat. What really makes Bruschetta special is the atmosphere and the people. It has that wonderful local feel where most everyone seems to know each other, and the wait staff are familiar, friendly faces from the community. The service is exceptional -- attentive, warm, and genuinely personable. You truly feel like you're among friends every time you walk in. It's always bustling with happy patrons and locals, so do yourself a favor and book a reservation. You won't regret it! If you're looking for fantastic Italian food, generous portions, fair prices, and a fun, welcoming local spot, Bruschetta is the place. I can't recommend it highly enough -- I'll keep coming back again and again!

Not only was the food excellent, but the service is what put them over the top. This restaurant was minutes away from our hotel so location wise, Bruschetta is in prime location if you are staying in or around South Lake Tahoe. Parking was relatively easy And our meal while having a few honest mistakes was remedied by our waiter Sean which made the meal truly 5 stars. There were a few mishaps with our order but we enjoyed what came out regardless, and the fact Sean did his best to remedy the situation despite the kitchen being closed at that point caused me to rank Bruschetta a bonafide 5 star Italian restaurant. Ambiance is very classy and feels authentic to what an Italian restaurant should be. Here's what we ordered: Roasted Cherry and Plum Bruschetta, Fried Calamari, Brussel Sprouts, Shrimp Caldo, 20 Layer Lasagna, Spaghetti and meatballs, and spicy Linguini and clams. To drink: an old fashioned, Peach cocktail, blueberry cocktail, and glass of red wine. Somehow, maybe due to it being later in the evening, they forgot to bring us our Shrimp Caldo, Brussel Sprouts, and red wine. We may have been the last customers, but we realized our entire order was not brought out so we mentioned it to our waiter to which he sincerely apologized and made right the best he could. Instead of getting defensive or making excuses, our waiter Sean took action and quickly resolved any issues which speaks volumes not only for him as a person but for the restaurant as a whole. We ended up ordering dessert after: tiramisu And vanilla gelato. Both were excellent and tipped generously. Bruschetta is a solid 5 star Italian restaurant in Lake Tahoe And I give a hearty thanks to the ownership, chefs, and especially Sean for serving us a wonderful Italian feast!

Then we transitioned inside where we could still hear the music, but it was in the shade so it was cooler. It's hard to Believe on March 14,2026 it was too hot outside. The place was packed and all the outdoor shady spots were taken. The kids were playing wildly with the hula hoops and running around. The adults were playing ping pong and corn hole. Today, March 15 we returned to play Corn hole, ping pong and for lunch. We started with the broccoli chatter soup. We wanted the leech soup too, but they were out. We also had the turkey pesto grilled sandwich with gooey melted cheese and chips. We shared it and it was just right amount for us for lunch. I love outdoor games and even more when they are free. Corn hole is a tough game. I only got 2 in snd he got 4. Im not sure if we're any better at ping pong. Either way we had a fun time. After we were done a group of 6 kids were all playing and in the process some younger kids got fidgety and dismounted the net. I'm so glad we played first with the net intact. This is definitely a place I'll return to. We were at Caesar's watching the Raiders and 49ers play around 6 months ago and got hungry. There wasn't anything to tat in the casino so I popped over here and got us some sandwiches. It was perfect. The people in front of us did the same thing. If you walk out the back door of Caesars they are across the street.
