The ladies who work the front desk play the BEST music! I was brand new to Pilates just a year ago and was looking for something to help repair my abdomen and pelvic floor after having a baby. Pilates has changed my life and thanks to these instructors I feel more confident in my form and I'm only getting better. I look and feel better overall and I always leave my workouts feeling accomplished. I highly recommend this specific studio, try the FREE intro class, you won't regret it!

This is just a review for the free intro class. ____…read more I'm no stranger to Pilates, as I've done the mat version for several years at my old gym. However, when I had the chance, I never took a reformer class or a personal training session. So, when I saw that Club Pilates was nearby, I decided to book an intro class to see what it's like. In 30 minutes, we covered a decent amount of information. Granted, there's a lot of equipment to become familiar with, but we got a general idea of the carriage, straps, and foot bar and managed to do some lunges, bridge work, and movements with the straps in our hands and feet. Syd was great at explaining things and correcting folks (with permission). She was also cool about answering my questions after the intro class. There's a strong community among the members. After class, people chatted while sanitizing their stations and then said goodbye. It seems like a good place to get into, but I've been traveling lately and haven't made a decision yet.

I am in love with Club Pilates. I moved from out of state, from a different location. I tried other…read morebusinesses but CP truly has the most options for levels and scheduling. The people from instructors, front desk and members are so welcoming and I have bad social anxiety but it's pushing me out of my bubble. I have encouragement in every corner and even students, if they're more seasoned and see me struggling will help, along with the instructors. I never feel dumb or ugly. The only con is scheduling. This location is so popular it's booked sometimes two weeks out. The waitlist sometimes works but you have to know your schedule, be patient and committed. It took me a month for my body and their bookings to align to where I can go 3x a week. Also I wish they had more relaxing classes like Center & Balance. But due to demand they have it every other week for level 1. I truly feel they need to open up another location in the Avery Park area of NB. I'd definitely utilize it. This location is a 20-30 min drive for me depending on traffic. For me it's worth it. I have a bad back from being in the military and a few autoimmune issues. And even though it's hard sometimes to get that motivation to do the drive once I get in there and finish I feel revived and my pain is so much better.

One instructor is downright rude--her aggressive corrections border on inappropriate, and her dismissive attitude is unacceptable. Laughing and making snide comments like 'I'm not for everyone' after upsetting clients isn't quirky; it's unprofessional and alienating. Add to that the exorbitant price of $200 for unlimited classes, which feels unjustifiable given the uneven quality of instruction and lack of accountability. For this price, I expect consistency, respect, and a welcoming environment across the board. This studio falls far short.
