Dead Sea soap smells so good and the scent lingers on your skin for a while. Nothing compares.

Thank you for everything Jill S & Connie G. My wife and I always come here and get excellent…read moreservice. Yes they moved down some into another store front but they reopened just fine. It just amazed us that Connie G would remember my wife's lipstick colors. That is taking customer service to a new level. Jill S was there again today to assist me with a couple more items and it was very nice. Thank you for another GREAT experience and I must say that other customers in the store seemed to be getting the attention and service that we get, which is EXCELLENT!! Great job!!

It's located in Tanger Outlet, but I don't usually go anywhere else in the outdoor mall…read more Usually,The Cosmetic Store is the only place on my agenda when someone convinces me to visit Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. I get Mac foundation and Clinique face wash from here every single time that I go. Both are substantially cheaper here than they are at other cosmetic stores. My 12/30/14 visit was no different, except that once I was ready to pay, I stood there several minutes while an older lady was reading something behind the register. Never looking up or acknowledging me. Finally, another older lady approaches and proceeds to wait on me. The first lady says to the other "she calls in more than she works" and then they proceed to chat about the apparent fellow employee... completely unprofessional. If I hadn't had so many good experiences at this place, or had it have been a first impression, I might not have ever returned. Get it together ladies!

My kids were trying to figure out which sample they wanted to try and my 5 year old said he just wanted normal honey. So I asked the employee which ones were unflavored. She very rudely stated that they are ALL unflavored. We were a bit confused because the bottles clearly stated different flavors. I asked "so this one that says orange blossom is not orange blossom flavored?" The employee says "no they are ALL unflavored they are ALL just honey with the ESSENCE of flavors". I definitely picked up on her bad attitude and rude tone of voice but it wasn't until after we left that my partner informed me that he heard her call me a dumb ass under her breath. Right in front of my children. I'm deeply unhappy with the customer service I received this time. I have been to this location many times in the past and never had an issue like this. This employee needs some customer service training ASAP and needs to be taught how to properly answer questions from customers. She completely discouraged me from making any purchases because she made it quite clear she did not want to deal with customers or the questions they may have about the products she is supposed to be trying to sell.

My friend had the stress relief massage by Michelle and said the same thing. I also had the hydro facial which was wonderful!

I came here while on vacation and received 4 treatments…read more 30-Min Facial: They use gentle, all-natural products, which is a plus. My esthetician was nice; however, she was a tad bit rough with the towel when removing products--so much so that she ripped my nose ring out. I know these things can happen, BUT she didn't verbally acknowledge it. Instead, she just went about avoiding the area afterward. 50-Min Dry Float: They loosely wrap you inside a membrane, hit a button, and water fills underneath the membrane as the slab you're lying on lowers. The water does not cover you. The water temperature is 95°, which doesn't really feel warm until you've been lying there for quite a while. The float also has bright colored lights that constantly change colors. I was hoping to relax enough to fall asleep, but every single time I started drifting off, the machine would make a loud noise and wake me back up. After it happened several times, I gave up on trying to sleep. Between that and the temperature, the dry float just wasn't relaxing for me. Salt Therapy: AMAZING. Easily one of the highlights of my visit. I thoroughly enjoyed this treatment and would absolutely do it again. Massage: This honestly redeemed the experience for me. My massage was wonderful and was exactly what I needed after being disappointed with the facial and dry float. Overall: The designated "relaxation room" wasn't particularly relaxing. It was quite bright, which seemed a little counterintuitive for a space specifically meant for relaxing between treatments. They did have basic water available, but I was surprised there weren't any of the little touches you tend to associate with a spa experience--cucumber water, champagne, wine, etc. None of those things individually would make or break a visit, but together they affected the overall experience. Checkout was also a little confusing. I was prompted to tip four people, even though I only remember interacting with three service providers. I also didn't love that the tipping process essentially treated every service the same when, frankly, two of my experiences did not warrant a large tip. There were definitely things I enjoyed--the salt therapy was amazing and the massage saved the day--but for the overall experience and price point, there were enough misses that I can't give it more than 3 stars.
