They said that "he's a straight shooter" and "he'll do you right." They were absolutely right. I couldn't have been more impressed by the customer service, friendliness and speed of my repair. The guys in the shop were excellent, showing me exactly where the problem had occurred in the engine (water pump) and how it was connected to everything else. They got the part in within an hour and I was back on my way $220 later. This price also included an oil change and an quick AC repair, by the way. (Google searches indicated that this would normally have cost me $400-600 for the water pump alone, but Greg's doesn't overcharge for labor!) This repair shop is a gem!!

This was the first time I have went to him, and he came highly recommended by a friend. Though I trusted the friend, I do NOT trust mechanics! My philosophy is: even if they are the most expensive mechanic around, if they are honest, then they are the CHEAPEST mechanic around!! Keep in mind, this review is after spending over $1600 in repairs for my 07' Suburban. YIKES! Lol. We got new tires, rotation/alignment, new front breaks. He let us to buy the breaks from Autozone, so we can get lifetime breaks, and he put them on for us. The breaks were so rusted in the housing they had to bang them out and sand away the rust to put the breaks in. He put in a new left control arm, new front rotors, he put in our new O2 sensor (which again, we bought from Autozone and he put it in) and he checked and fixed our spare tire since it was flat and useless. He was so considerate and patient. Every time he told me something I told him to wait and let me talk it over with my husband. He agreed and only did the work we wanted him to do. He wouldn't touch our vehicle without clearing it with us first. His policy is, he works on vehicles as if they are his own. So he doesn't try to cheat you, work on it without your permission then make you pay the bill for his fixes, and he is priced VERY comparable! He had to check our electrical and he charged the same as the places in Des Moines even though he's out in Derby!!! His shop is 30 minutes from where I live and it's worth every single mile for the peace of mind that he isn't going to see a woman coming and think he can charge me for headlight fluid!
