You can start your visit with a self-guided tour of the grounds and read about the history of the chateau. It's a lovely short stroll and surely helps build up the appetite for delicious wines We learned their wines are mostly Bourgueil except for their sparkling wines that cannot be labeled Bourgueil due to the "laws" of accreditation- they are labeled Vin de France All organic and aged in both steel and oak, we found the flavor notes and scents hit all our delights. In fact, the Vignes Centenaires de Minière was sold out except for magnums but we liked it so much we got 2! Can someone say overweight luggage fee? :-) They also ship to the US and use a VA based shipping company if you prefer to have them deliver. Super friendly staff and delicious wines - this was as good as it gets
