The waitress was friendly, though this is definitely a spot for the locals as she didn't speak any English. They played a bunch of pop music, not sure abut you but I tend not to find Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift to be dining music, but what do I know? It's difficult to recommend Re Carlo as you probably came to Italy for more authentic Italian food, and this is more like an American sports bar. Not bad, just not what we wanted.

We had a starter board of an assortment of seafood. All very fresh and quite tasty. The only thing I didn't absolutely love was one of the fish dips. We also had the seafood risotto which had been recommended to us ("The best risotto in the Venice area") and was just so well done.
