A was recently invited to a baby shower (I was the token gay), I had no idea what to buy as a gift, as a general rule I have avoid children (I tend to get bored with them after about five minutes). I was walking along Avoca Street in Randwick and the window of picture man caught my eye.
I would never normally consider paying for photography, as in this digital age, it is so easily accessible. However I was so impressed by the poster size baby photos in the window, I knew it was a good idea.
It does not matter how expensive your camera is, portraiture is a great skill and it can be difficult to capture those perfect photogenic moments. Also I loved the tag in the window "Shoot the kids, hang the family, frame the wife" brilliant.
Anyway, my friend was thrilled with the gift and the results, and I suppose her little creation is kind of cute, but she can keep him. read more
