This review is long overdue, yet so richly deserved…read more Prior to our annual fishing trip up to Winnibigoshish, my son informed me that he intended to propose to his girlfriend of three years. I knew it was a moment that I had to capture. Living in San Antonio, TX however, I knew I would be taking a complete shot in the dark hiring a photographer. In the end, the website for Emerald Heart Photography "spoke to me" more so than any other, so I contacted them. After exchanging a couple emails (which were answered almost immediately) and a quick phone call with Amanda, I had a session booked with her; all done from 1000 miles away. She even had a couple back up dates penciled in just in case the weather became ornery that week. Simply put, Amanda couldn't have been more flexible and accommodating. This wasn't exactly the easiest gig to pull off either. There was a bit of a covert action necessary to get set up, while maintaining the element of surprise for my son's girlfriend. Amanda pulled it off flawlessly. The final product? I guess I don't know what I was expecting, but I was utterly blown away by the quality and caliber of Amanda's work. She captured the special moment for my son and his fiancé (she did say yes) so perfectly, looking at the pictures even a couple months later can make this tough guy have involuntary moisture discharge from his ocular cavities.
