We returned home to Arizona and once assembled, the car would not work as directed. I sent an email to Hour of Marbles, and within a day, Alan Romano, the National Sales Manager kindly responded to me and offered to send us a replacement car. My son was so happy...as was I. Today, I received a package from House of Marbles, and to my surprise, when I opened it, fount not one toy, but a new one for my son to assemble as well! From a gorgeous pitcher with a heavy bottom that I was told was meant specifically to be used as a vase to a few small bowls and one big platter. They are unique and give my space a beautiful feel. I've stopped in myself a few times while walking Main St and have admired the works for sale. They really are incredible! It can be difficult to find Crane & Co. notecards and stationery, but Paper Grace on Main had quite and assortment. The unique cards for birthdays, anniversaries, and other occasions were great--some made me laugh out loud when I read them. The cards are NOT stuff you will find in a Hallmark or other card store. They also have wonderful gift wrap and writing instruments. Definitely worth stopping in if you're in the area!

I had an original painting by an artist sent to the Framesmith Gallery over a month ago in a sealed…read moretube and have yet to receive an estimate despite the fact that I've already called and spoke to them on numerous occassions. I'm not sure if they are overwhelmed or understaffed, but it's been a very difficult process just to get started. I have been beyond patient and will try to hang in there for one more week before retrieving my painting back to get it stretched somewhere else. The worst part about this is that I will have to uncessarily drive all the way out to them which will be very inconvienent when I could have easily went to another framing gallergy only 5 minutes away from my home instead. I'm hoping they can at least do the right thing in mailing it back to me at their expense to try to make up for what has happened.
