Our tour started around the Castle Square/Royal Palace part of Warsaw. Then we went through the pedestrian street as our tour guide lead us to different monuments of heroes, artists, intelligent people in Poland. Then we stopped at the University of Warsaw. Loved the high bushes and garden! Next, we walked around the centrum boulevard and found out about this historic Jewish resident building...it's all broken and wore out now because it has been there since 1919! Our last stop was the well-known PALACE OF KULTURA AND NAUKI(Culture and Science Palace) Stalinist building that shines at night, also my profile photo! Our guide also showed us many images of Warsaw back in the 1920s before the invasion/WWII and after WWII...it was bitter sweet but to my surprise, I found my CHINESE BANK THERE-BANK OF CHINA! That made me feel like home~!

So be patient. The trains are decently clean in second class. The bathroom lacked paper towels and toilet paper, so travel prepared. Price: It's a bargain. For two people, our tickets from Warsaw to Prague were only $250 Zl. Comfort: Average for a European train Food: Dining car was available for the first half of our trip. After that, we had a snack car and a concession guy that walked up and down the aisles. The concession guy spoke perfect English and had a great personality. Demeanor of employees: Reserved Wifi: our train had limited, intermittent, super-slow wifi. So don't bank on being connected. Tip: (1) Seats are assigned. So read your ticket closely and make sure you're on the right car. (2) It's perfectly acceptable to bring your own snacks and drinks and eat on the train. (3) If the concession guy has hot schnitzel sandwiches, they are terrific.

Secondly it's not that big and it's really easy to navigate. Your taxi or Uber can drop you right in front of the terminal. You aren't harassed or anything either when you get out of the airport to find your taxi or right here. Warsaw is a great city to travel in. The security is thorough and quick and they are polite. No yelling and it was so calm when I was there. I like how all the terminals are arranged in a line so it's easy to find them. The LOT Lounge is right in the beginning so it might be good to go inside if it happens to be before you go through security so you don't have to go through it again. I had already gone through security and my flight was way down at another gate and so I used the lounge down there (there are 2). There is one lounge which you can access with Priority Pass. If you don't have lounge access, I think there are lots of cute places to get a bite to eat or a drink at this airport. There is even a sushi vending machine! There's also very good duty-free. It's a very clean airport and the bathrooms are nice. I really have nothing bad to say about this airport. I wish more airports in the USA were this easy.

I was surprised to see that this airport was really clean. I was expecting an airport that might need some attention paid to it, but that is not the case here. The waiting areas could have more seating and wait times were long because we missed our original flight due the the weather in London. The airline gave us a food voucher which the hostess at the restaurant seemed annoyed waiting on us.

The staff was exceptional, friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Whether I had a room request or a question about the area, every team member went above and beyond. The rooms were superb, functional, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. I appreciated the convenience of a mini-fridge next to the bed, lightning-fast Wi-Fi, English TV channels, and the spacious bed and bathroom. The gym on the top floor was a great way to unwind at the end of the day, well-equipped and clean with a great view. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with the Holiday Inn Warsaw City Centre and would absolutely stay here again. Tip: There's a convenient bus from the airport that drops you just a couple of blocks from the hotel, and public transportation is very accessible from this location.
