DO NOT HIRE THIS FRAUD! I wish I could give 0 stars. We met Carey Pickford for a Chap 13 consult after another atty said we don't qualify for Chap 7 (& that atty does not do Chap 13). Carey surprised us by saying we DO qualify for a 7 as car payments & child support offset our high income. We executed a contract, paid him in full & spent dozens of hours over the next 2 months preparing to file & stopped paying BK included debt at his direction. His wife/assistant, Gina, met with us to go over our papers. She was rude, dismissive & said our income was an issue. She treated us like trash. We asked to speak with Carey but he was always "busy". In the end, they sent an after-hours email telling us we do not qualify for Chap 7 & have since refused our calls & ignored our emails. Then, they fired us as clients, refusing to handle the 13 despite them having all the info to proceed. We are now in financial ruin with no time to start over before our wages are garnished and home is leaned. Carey & Gina Pickford may cause us to lose our home. NOT ONE CALL RETURNED BY OUR ATTORNEY! I bet most reviews here are fake, as this man and his wife are predators. BEWARE! read more
