I advised them that the thermostat was recently replaced and was told "oh, well I always change them when I do a water pump" Spoke to the mechanic on the phone about the over $100 charge to do the water pump that wasn't cleared by me prior to the service and he said that he should have changed ball joints on the car that didn't need to be changed. His wife called me back and apologized and told me to come up and they would refund $100 on the thermostat to make things better. I agreed and went up there today. When I arrived the wife wasn't there and the mechanic asked where my car was. I told him that I don't drive it everyday and he plopped a random thermostat on the table and asked how he was supposed to put my old one back in without the vehicle there so he could get his money back on the new one ($14 part that is now used)... I'm sorry but after being threatened that he would have put on parts that the vehicle didn't need there is no way I would trust you to touch my vehicle again. Edit because I can't reply to the comment from the owner: Never once did I see my car on the rack. And yes he did threaten me over the phone and that's when you called me back to try and make it right. I have the call logs. He literally said "I should have replaced the ball joints that it didn't need" then you told me to come by today to pick up the $100 to make it right. You wasn't there when he asked where my car was and tossed some random thermostat on the table saying he needed the car to put this back in to get his money back. There is no way I'm trusting him to touch my vehicle after the threats.

We weren't going through insurance and rather paying out of pocket to save the car. They knew that and we're willing to work with us to get "the best price". Over a few month process of repairs, the communication became very frustrating with our sales person named Ilya. I explained that we wanted aftermarket parts instead of OEM parts where it permits, I come to find out later that they got some used "junk yard parts" and that we should be "more specific" when defining what we wanted. Aftermarket parts are VERY different than used junk yard parts!!! Any person in the car industry should know that! We had a horrible experience with Ilya pretty much yelling at us and blaming us for the miscommunication! Also, after a few weeks of driving, part of my front bumper just falls off while i'm on the highway! Like it wasn't attached properly when they fixed my car! Ridiculous.

They charge a $450 for just coming out. Then $250 per hour once he leaves the shop. To make matter worst they add a huge surcharge to the parts order that you need. It appeared to be as much as 40%. Secondly the mechanic was in a rental truck and didn't have all the tools needed to work on my truck. It was really a bad experience guys. So find yourself another mechanic.
