I love all things chocolate, so naturally I loved this place: everything they sold, the pastries, the decor, and the chic, beautiful ambiance. We got a coffee here and their famous tiger pastry. This is something you can't find in most other pâtisseries (not like the more ubiquitous millefeuille or éclairs which you can find anymore anywhere) The tiger pâtisserie has a base made of almond flour and studded with chocolate chips and is a pretty dense cake, and then has a center of delicious chocolate ganache. I shared this with my husband along with some coffee and it was amazing - I've been trying to find this pastry all over France now. (I live in the South of France) They also sell chocolate candy bars, chocolate bars and other pastries but I'll have to go back to get more treats. Definitely stop by here if you're a chocoholic like me. The prices are a little steep but the quality of the ingredients and chocolates that are used in the pastries make it worth it.

We brought home some wonderful chocolate bars that are sadly all gone now and we enjoyed some…read moreexcellent pastries and cookies from this shop in the 11th arrondisement while we were in Paris. Worth waiting in the cold in line to get in. (And everyone wore masks.) service was fast and friendly.

However, the portions were more than expected considering it was gourmet. We couldn't finish our entrees. Good spot for French brunch as it is a top fine-food grocer and deli. Sit outside on the sidewalk. There is an awning/umbrella to block out the sun which was great on a hot day. Note founded in 1894!

The noodles were lacking. The noodle isn't the kind of noodle I liked. I found them too firm. Tofu seemed to be over cooked. On the brightside, the greens in the noodle were super fresh. B had the pastrami sandwich. He liked it. Fries were ok. The decor isn't wow here. I found this place though google and Yelp. This restaurant had a lot of history and story behind it. Servers here were super nice and friendly. The washroom here seemed a bit creepy.

The staff is fantastic, they give great service and will always help you make a decision on what to get! I had their chicken satay, a dish I favor in the states and they classed it up! Typically served on a skewer these were thin chicken breasts, covered in sauce served on a bed of rice. So good! My favorite dish there, may seem so basic, but their cesar salad. It blows any salad I have had in the US out of the water. Hard boiled eggs are in it, a large fresh chicken breast, and all the ingredients taste fresh. I've had their burgers, also fabulous and their hot chocolate! I have never left unsatisfied and will be my go-to place if I ever find myself in Paris again.
