Canele is one of my favorite desserts for a long time, and it originated from Bordeaux, and this shop made a Gelato out of it. It is just amazing! The gelato really tasted like a Canele, even with Canele pieces in it that you can chew on a little. The rum raisin gelato was full or raisins with a genuine rum taste. It was prefect. I was a little sad that I only got to go to this shop once during my visit in Bordeaux, and wished I could go back and try more flavors!

It was almost 2:30-3pm when we decided to give Plan B a try because of their prices and handful of reviews on Yelp. The inside of the sandwich shop was very rustic with a nice eclectic feel. There were about a dozen sandwiches to choose from and the option to get the handheld in a combo (+drink or drink+dessert). The better deal was to go with a combo so we did. After waiting a couple of minutes our sandwiches were brought out and they were delicious. Very simple yet made with quality fresh ingredients to give you a healthy lunch. I had Le Mama without tomatoes and I really enjoyed it. For dessert we opted to try a chocolate brownie to cleanse the palate. I think what added to this experience was the ambiance and gorgeous day outside. Being able to say we were enjoying a sandwich in the cafes of Bordeaux is pretty fantastic, no?
