Piazza Dante Park is a nice urban park. It's mostly concrete, but has some greenery. There are several monuments in this park, most of which commemorate the contributions of Italians to Ottawa and Canada. There is also a monument that honours all fallen soldiers from all wars.
There is a water fountain at the centre of the park. There's a button on a pillar you can press to start the water show. There are several jets and they spray at different times and different heights. It's fun to watch.
There are several benches and picnic tables in the park as well.
It's a great space to hang out and be outside. I bet it's very popular with students from nearby schools and people who live and work in the neighbourhood.
