Dr. Fissel is a great doctor, he is easy to talk to and get along with and so are the rest of the aides/secretarys that I have encountered. I've been going to Family Care Medical Center since I was in at least middle school. Been seeing…read morethe same doctor for more than 10 years. Yes, I live in NYC now, but do I want to switch? No. Dr. Ukropec is a dream. I only go in about once a year now, but every time I show up, I am always greeted with open arms. Dusty always wants a life update. It's like seeing an old friend. Prescriptions are easy to pick up here, and appointments are usually available when you need them. They're always flexible with moving things around so long as you give them about 48 hours notice. The receptionists are usually kind, and even a little bit chatty. I like that. Keep it up Family Care. I may live in NYC for years and never switch doctors.

I needed to find a new primary physician and choose Dr. O'Connor from the Grandview health website…read more I have to say absolutely nothing but the best experience so far, from both the doctor and her staff. I was able to get an appointment quickly, and everything was handled in a very professional manner. The doctor looked at some of my recent lab work, and after requesting updated lab work, which by the way she had the results and emailed me in less than three hours, suggested I may be able to get off my cholesterol medicine as my numbers were so good. Absolutely everything I have needed or requested was handled in a quick and efficient manner and I would highly recommend both the doctor and the practice to anyone seeking a new primary physician.

However, the newest doctor, a younger doctor from the military is by far the best doctor I've had in decades. He spends a long time consulting, and explaining details. If you make an appointment....ask for Dr. V. and you'll avoid the older guys who have one leg out the door. They used to just hire a P.A. to see most of the patients.

After moving…read moreto Chalfont and trying with 2 other practices, I finally found a great practice specializing for family and geriatric medicine. The Chalfont Family practice is conveniently located at professional office complex off of busy E. Butler Ave in New Britain. I liked the proximity and easiness of making an appointment without waiting for weeks, and months. The staffs were professional and friendly. Most of all the waiting time was minimal. The office atmosphere was very clean and comfortable. There were 2 separate offices units with each 7 Drs' name was posted on each entrances. I was seen by Dr. Wassel and she was very attentive, and compationate. She went thru all the recent lap and tests records I brought carefully and answered all my concerns without rushing. Then she gave me recommendations and ordered missing vaccines & needed tests. I feel lucky to find such a meticulous and caring dr.

Worst Managed Practice I have ever experienced! Started going to them about twenty years ago, but…read morein the past two years they have become so unprofessional. Calls are never returned, ever. it takes weeks to get the simplest of approvals leaving dozens of messages to get an answer: what should have been a routine order for lab Corp for blood work for physical was not issued two days before the appointment because they "were waiting for doctors approval". Having experiences this in last years physical I started calling them ten days prior to the appointment, two days before the appointment still no returned call. Another time the doctor ordered a procedure and when I went to schedule it the hospital said they needed pre-approval. The insurance company said the approval had to come from the doctors office. Dozens of calls to Chalfont Family Practice, no call back even once, finally I connected and was told "oh we should have given you that authorization number when we gave you the order". When you visit, there are half a dozen people mulling around; but no one seems to return calls or listen to messages. Archaic and old fashion office that does not use email or texts to communicate with clients; everything is menu and voicemail and they do not return your messages. Don't expect much here, the office is busy making the patients jump through hoops; and they seem to enjoy it.
