The coffeehouse is situated close to the König-Heinrich-Platz, hidden away in a small alley - I am pretty sure that I wouldn't have found it, had I not been directly looking for it. It is a small cafe with plenty of seats (indoors & outdoors), a tiny counter, its own roaster in the corner (yes, they do roast their own coffee beans!!!) and enough coffeehouse atmosphere to supply the entire city with it. It is quite obvious that the people here have a deep love for coffee - it's not just another "double-ccino-caramel-froth-something"-place, this is pure coffee made with love! And what happens when people add enough love, passion and knowledge to their product? You can taste the difference! Best café in Duisburg, if you ask me! They told us beforehand that the pin device wasn't working and that we had to pay cash, but we didn't have any cash with us. They told us it was ok and we could go to an ATM after lunch to get some cash and come back to pay. The menu is very extensive, a lot longer than most restaurants on the city. Everything sounded good and prices vary from just a few euros to more expensive meals, which are about €10 - €12. I went for a week special wrap which you can see in the picture. It was €9,95 and it was so worth it! I rarely have such an amazing meal at a restaurant! I think this is one of the best places in Oss to have lunch and I will definitely come more often!

The ample spaces and the limited amount of seats gives it a wonderful grotto feeling! As for the menu expect a bit of the basics, coffee tea, cappuccino, you know the basis... I chose the Rwandan coffee through aeropress, and boy was it delicious. You get a card with information about the coffee in both Dutch and English. It's all served in a classy way, and the staff is friendly. If I lived in Arnhem, I'd be going here a lot more often. Sadly, I live more than an hour away. I think that says enough about the kind of place it is. Note: I don't think the cave is accessible by wheelchair, but I could be mistaken. The coffee is great enough to just get it on the go too, but sitting here is very relaxing.

This place is great for some good coffee and a large variety of German pastries. They have excellent service, and you can sit inside, or if the weather permits outside and watch people walk by. It is a normal thing to do here without having to feel weird about it. It was my first time in Hengelo and I had biked there from Enschede, hoping to buy some concert tickets at the Metropool...but I was an hour and a half early. I had to kill some time. So I hung out here! Being a student, living on campus with only a Starbucks being the closest, I am always dying for good coffee (the vending machine coffee is crap and doesn't take my card, and the coffee you get in the cafeterias also sucks). It had a good espresso tang without being overly sour. Their coffee menu was probably on the more extensive side too, they had the seasonal pumpkin and chai flavors. The atmosphere is very casual and quiet. I'm not sure if it gets busy (this is tiny Hengelo after all), but there weren't too many people crowding the area. The person working was very friendly and struck up a conversation with me too since it was so quiet. There are a ton of places to sit, mixture between small tables, comfy couches, and outdoor seating (when it's not raining!!). They also have wifi, so it's a great place to study!
