First time in Piedmonte lounge in Turin airport…read more The lounge is accessible for those travelling business class. When I first arrived, it was empty. Plenty of seating, a wide variety of European newspapers, food and a full bar service await. It definitely beats No.1 lounge in Gatwick which is crazy busy and full of kids. I get the impression that the Piedmonte lounge is only for those with Business class tickets or relevant level airline loyalty cards, not pay and enter like Gatwick. Sounds snobbish but if you want peace, quiet and not to have kids running around then this is the place to come before your flight. Clean, tidy and great service then if I'm back here (hopefully business class!) then I'd happily hang out here pre-flight.
