I won't give less than 3 stars because we didn't have labor done by this company. We simply had an estimate requested. However, I felt the need to say something so they can have more professionalism in the future. First off they told me they would let me know 30 min before the technician arrived to quote us on a job we wanted. They did not inform us and when he showed up we weren't even home yet. Had we known the time, we would have been. Dean was our technician and he gave me a weird feeling immediately. He was SO pushy on making us sign with him that instant. I told him very nicely that we don't like to make rushed decisions and that my partner and I wanted to discuss the price first. He said "yes you're right" then 10 minutes later proceeded to sell us on choosing them. Saying he can only give us this specific price if we sign right now and make a deposit. The BEST service ever! We needed to have our very old warped garage door replaced with a basic functional one and reached out to Pi Garage Doors. I had read some nice reviews on YELP and thought I would start with them. Netanel answered the phone on one ring, came out the same day to assess and within one week, we have a brand new functional and pretty garage door. The day Netanel and another tech person came to install the new garage door, it was miserably hot and the installation came with hurdles. As it turned out, the lights on the ceiling were preventing the door from opening and the gentlemen were extremely careful to adjust and make the installation possible. Both men were polite, courteous and beyond competent. Although the installation took several more hours than expected with the complications, Netanel honored his original quote. My garage door tension springs snapped. I called several other garage door service companys, there prices were higher and a emergecy service fee for after 5pm service call would be added. I opted to fix them my self. After a trip to home depot and lowes, found out they do not sell tension springs of this type. I would have to wait till the next day , and shop around local garage door supply shops. I opted to Google more service providers and locate Pi Garage doors. Went through multiple garage door companies to get bids to replace my ancient garage door opener, and considering insulting my existing garage door. Was very pleased with Nethanel's responsiveness to all my questions, detailed and itemized bid (a must when comparing), and their value proposition. He showed up on time, did the work very well, and pointed out several neglected areas for maintenance, as well as pointing out how I could accomplish the insulation myself for a fraction of the cost. My garage door is original to my units construction in the late 70s, and it appears maintenance was not performed by the prior owner.
