This year I get a message from my CC: We've charged $239.00 at CORPORATE FILIN. WTF? I search through my old emails and see one from 2022 (see attached) So I guess they sent me another one last year? I'm pretty sure I didn't agree to have them do my filing! The "filing" takes 2 min: confirm your address etc. For them to do it you have to confirm with them and then they confirm with Sunbiz. Apparently that's a $190 service! You can act as your own registered agent in FL. If you are small and have a physical mailing address in FL these services might not be worth it to you. If you do use them, be prepared for lots of scary emails warning you that "You will be fined $400 if you don't register/file by May 1st every year." Then they try to upsell you and, even if you don't agree, try to charge you!
