This review is long overdue, but I have to commend all the residents under Dr. Charles Whitehead, who took care of me when I had Covid in August. They were able to get me in for an appointment virtually 2x and an office appt. to check my lungs a week later.As a runner and Triathlete, I was concerned those were affected and the staff helped to ease my symptoms without inhalers or prescription medications. Their front office was considerate, kind, and helpful .I appreciated the medical advice that was given, and especially the fact that they had limited Saturday hours even though I was unable to make an appt , they still got me in. I've been away for almost 2 years. Yeah, I went doctor hunting. It ain't easy to find a doctor I like, so I'm back. Here is my update and recap. I followed them from Memorial Hermann Southwest Medical Plaza 2 to Sugar Creek back in 2008. Over the years, this facility has become a state-of-the-art modern and technically advanced facility. The front office staff is courteous. I know a few lab technicians and nurses who started when it was opened. They are easily to relate and friendly to talk to. There's a full-scaled cafeteria (serving Starbucks coffee) open during early breakfast and lunch hours. I wish it opens later because my appointment tends to be in the afternoon. The efficiency behind this facility is the network. The medical records are accessible throughout the Memorial Hermann system. So, it doesn't matter which hospital I go to, getting the medical history is incredibly fast. One thing I don't like about them is I can't get used to the doctors. Physicians at Sugar Creek is a training institute for doctors. Every 3 years, I receive a letter about my replacement doctor as they graduate in June. This group will be gone in 2020. read more

If you work a normal 9-5 job M-F don't bother with this place. No new patients are allowed to be seen on Saturdays per "protocol". Receptionist was getting attitude with me when I inquired why. I guess they don't want business or help out by one day for new patients seeking care. read more

I didn't want to do a review, but then I realized that if I don't point out what happened to me, someone else is going to get hurt: (1) I have been a regular there, but every time I needed a refill, I had to go see the doctor. They don't care if I die or not! (2) When my blood sugar suddenly went up for no reason, the doctor referred me to a dietician. What I really needed was an endocrinogist. In fact, if the doctor had checked my blood results, he would have noticed that my TSH had gone down as well! To make a long story short, I ended up in the ER with a high heart rate & BP, barely two weeks after seeing my doctor! I should have been checked for thyroid hormones & referred to a specialist. Tomorrow I will be undergoing a Thyroid scan at MD Anderson Cancer Center. read more

When I started going to this clinic, I was poor. I did not have health insurance nor the money to be a cash patient elsewhere. I once had a doctor snatch a prescription out of my hand and halve the quantities of the medications because her practice changed their prices from $50 to $100. Anyway, Dr. Fiesinger has been my doctor for a little more than two years. When I started seeing him, my weight was between 295-305 pounds. I was drinking heavily and diagnosed with hypertension, Type II diabetes, morbid obesity, and high triglycerides. I began my weight loss Journey in 2012 at 305lbs. Throughout the whole year, I only managed to lose about 20lbs, I got discouraged and gained back a few before the end of the year. In January 2014, I lost my father to a stroke... one of the conditions that could affect me if I didn't change my lifestyle. My goal was 200lbs. It was also at this time that I started working for my company who gives me the tools and the ability to address my health benefits (dental & eye too,) diet, and exercise regimens. And although I have EXCELLENT health insurance and I've moved 45 minutes away, I still go to see Dr. Fiesinger. With the help of my doctor, the nurses, phone nurses, and lab technicians... I exceeded my goal of 200lbs on December 1, 2014... when I stepped on the scale that day I was 191.6lbs. The total weight loss in 11 months was over 100lbs. Used to go to this place was very unsatisfied so I found a new dr..they gave me steroids and told me to take all of them to fight gout.my new dr said that was why I gained thirty pounds.doctors are interns not doctors yet. My dr retired so I went back to this places clinic and was told I had tennis elbow.he gave me three options for treatment.i chose the injection ,then he said I can't give it to you. I received my COVID vaccine at this facility and I want to commend them for a very well run and efficient system. My primary care physician is part of the Memorial Herman system but is not giving vaccinations at their location. Instead, I was advised I would be contacted by email and invited to schedule an appointment. Sure enough a couple of weeks later I received the invitation email. When I first checked it seemed that the available appointments were either far away from where I live or far into the future. A few hours later I checked back and many more appointment slots and locations had opened up. I was able to secure my appointment for about 24 hours later and near where I live in Sugar Land. When I arrived I was checked for temperature and questioned about symptoms and exposure then promptly led to a room with a nurse who gave me my shot. I was then sent to a waiting area where patients could wait for the 15 minute observation while socially distanced. My second shot was also scheduled before I left. I have now had my second shot with the same degree of efficiency and clear concern for patient and staff safety. I happened to arrive about 20 minutes early and I was actually in and out before my appointment time slot. Every one I dealt with seemed to be very professional and were a pleasure to deal with. I have been a patient here for years. I accept the fact that the providers are residents under the supervision of a physician If you are not happy with your current provider they will schedule you with a different one. My 1st dr was dr hascovek, probably spelled wrong, but she finished her residency and went to practice at a Hospice Facility. She was excellent. Now I see Dr. Ukwu. She is great. I will enjoy her while she is there. The facility is clean. The staff is kind patient and professional. And the after hours service is wonderful. Can't beat that. I tried to leave before and go to a private practice dr. Didn't work for me. Just don't get the same quality of care and services. read more

Would give good rating about nurses and actual appointment with doctors, but problem with communicating by phone with anybody at the actual building is like getting into Fort Knox. If a person leaves something at the building, because the person is beginning to have major memory loss, you CANNOT actually talk to anybody at the building. We will drive back across town to find out if the item has been found. It is absolutely astonishing that you cannot talk to the front desk personnel. My doctor recently left this clinic and his replacements have a bedside manner of someone who doesn't want to be there. I don't know if it's my face, clothes, or ethnicity but when I state certain long-term illnesses to the doctors I'm treated like a liar until they receive documents or tests to support my medical conditions. Been a Kelsey Seybold patient for years but because of insurance I had to find a new provider. came here because of an on and off pain in my back/leg/buttocks... to make it short, came in for what felt like a sciatica pain... had X-ray done and Dr. Ordered physical therapy. I did suggest MRI since its more in depth but said i didn't need it. the following week came in again the pain and inflammatory medicine did nothing for the pain. still didn't receive no new medicine, at this point my leg was feeling numb..ordered an US to be safe..well i went to the ER because after the visit my toes started feeling cold. ER helped with pain medicine and refer me to a spine dr. Saw a spine dr the next day and turned out i have a RUPTURED DISC!. something that would not show on an XRAY, and was told I needed surgery. (its a Tuesday) i was just at physician creek on Monday and the week before (2/21 & 2/27) That same day the clearance form was sent to Physicians creek and until Thursday i finally was able to TALK on the phone with the dr. who made me go in the next day for labs. if you call or email you wont get a response till the evening...or the next day... I don't think the severity of my pain was noticed... i really wish i could go back to kelsey seybold. read more

I have been a patient here for about a year. My issue is I keep getting Very new physicians or Physicians Assistants who are unfamiliar / unwilling to deal with anything remotely complex. The after hours clinic is a Nightmare. I was actually rebuked because I had two problems that I needed to be seen for that overlapped due to my medical condition. And could both have been delt with using One antibiotic. I was told that After Hours was ONLY for One problem! I offered to go back in line and make an immediate appointment to be re-seen for the second problem. Only then did they consider both related issues. When I told the PA that the paticular antibiotic didn't work for me, she disregarded my opinion and still ordered it. Because if it didn't work, I could come back. We keep getting misdiagnosed. The last doctor couldn't tell the obvious problem between Psoriasis and Exema. Even after being advised of what it was. All I ever leave with is frustration and referrals to see someone else. The last PA was so abrasive my husband refuses to return there again. The tops was when the PA who just seemed to want to go home and not deal with us called our house more than Three times to connect us to appointments to make follow up appointments. You would think that they would figure out why I didn't. And don't be sure the lab will ever be open. Because it's only been open once when I have been there. Urgent care, come back tomorrow for labs doesn't equate to urgent. I had huge hopes for them. But we are done. I don't like being treated with disrespect. read more

Not enough stars to rate Dr Taylor as high as he deserves! I've been going to Physicians at Sugar Creek for some time for my annual physical. Knock on wood....always healthy and go to the dr once a yr. I'm a long distance marathon runner and recently experiencing issues. Sought out a sports physician and unfortunately didn't know Phy of Sugar Creek had one on staff. Thought they were all GP's. Had a TERRIBLE experience with another practice/different dr so sought out someone else. That's how I discovered Dr. Taylor at Phy of SC. He has been so patient and informative with me. He is great about responding to my emails with my questions during my treatment process. Today I went for a follow up appt. He spent 45 min with both me and my spouse to essentially tell me let's just keep doing what we are doing. He could have told me that in 5 min and moved on. If you a runner and looking for someone with knowledge in this sport he's your guy. He volunteers at the Houston Marathon medical tent each year and has volunteered at the Boston Marathon. Special training is required for the dr's to work the medical tents so he understands our issues. He is regularly attending a variety of sports physicians clinics and conferences as well for a variety of other sports. Listening to some of his other treatment and training stories he is well rounded in his knowledge across various sports. He was also cognizant of cost. I have a Health Spending Account (HSA) so I'm always thinking about whether I'm being a responsible consumer with my health dollars. I find some dr's don't think with the same mind set and always prescribe what seems to be the most expensive prescription and treatment plans. I believe we all have a responsibility to help keep health care costs down and he was open to this as well. This place is super amazing. I felt I was in completely safe and professional hands. Within 4 days of my setting foot for the first time in the clinic I had seen my doctor, got all my labs and x rays done and received all results with prescriptions, follow up appointments and follow up suggestions. Not for a second did I have to wait for anything . The staff was extremely courteous and helpful and guided me through the process. And Dr. Lindsay Botsford, I have already recommended her to several of my friends. I'm so happy I made the right choice about her after hours of research. read more

This clinic was recommended to me by my family doctor in hopes of finding someone new to prescribe my medication. Getting an appointment after all the mistakes that were made took about a month, made my appointment, I rely of confirmation calls. Nothing! I call and ask why I didn't get a call and I'm told they got my number wrong. I make another appointment for a few days later. I go in, meet the dr and I'm instantly drawn to her. I told her I was confident that she's going to be my dr UNTIL it went downhill moments later. She for whatever reason was unable to find my prescribed medication history on the database even though the dr who originally gave me the medication is from the same hospital. So image walking in with a medication bottle with meds in it, yet they can't find out who gave it to me. I'm asked to take a drug test. Never have I ever been made to feel like a druggy until that day. I took the drug test and was confident I'd pass because I don't even drink or smoke. Well, she calls me and says that I should cancel my appointment with the psychiatrist I had already scheduled because I'd have to sigh a contract with her and she didn't want to risk me getting meds from other doctors. I'm already labeled a druggy by this comment. I respectfully cancel that appointment. I get a call from her office manager apologizing for having to take the drug test and couldn't understand how she couldn't find me in the database because the manager did. I looked past that first impression and went in to see her today. Today she left me in tears. She said she ONLY looked into my information moments before my appointment and realized I needed an "official diagnosis" by a psychiatrist. Which she made me cancel. She said you can see a behavioral specialist here. This comes after I rushed over there even after having to pick up a sick kid from school I didn't want to cancel because I was happy I found a dr I was going to like. I told her it's not easy to take half the day off, pay co pays only to hear this. She apologized and agreed she failed me but seemed to insist that I may be suffering from some sort of underline depression, I have never in my years of seeing doctors had such a bad experience from the moment they answered the phone! I should have listened to what I always say which is "first impressions are important" they made a horrible first, second and third!!! They won though! Typical large style operation where my family members have rotated through a number of primary doctors during our time with them from the large apparent doctor turnover. The service has been satisfactory throughout our time here. Main concern raised in this review is the frustration associated to continual incorrect billing from the group and the extended time and many calls it takes to get wrongly billed services resolved. Dr. Botsford is a resident doctor from Baylor she is not a season doctor she young and don't know how to diagnose patients. She gave me amoxicillin for sinus infection which could be bronchitis now because it hasn't clear up. She put in my file the I need to go to an ENT to get helped. So I have to pay for another doctor... Patients will die in her care. I went to her twice for this same issue. Which the first time she gave me nasal spray and prednisone how was that going to clear an infection. Think twice about going there they are recent students. read more

Not pleased at all with this organization. They don't answer the telephone. I've called and waited on hold for more than ten minutes each time. I also receive phone calls at times from representatives who do not speak English well. I can't understand the messages left. When I ask my Doctor for referrals, they NEVER come in the mail and I have to ask for them a second time. I will be changing my PCP again. Not pleased. I had a wellness appointment with Dr. Bich-May Nguyen few weeks ago. She is very unprofessional and I really regret that I choose her . She said she does not believe in preventive diagnostic test and I had to request several time for an HgbA1c lab test. My HgbA1c was elevated last year so I just wanted to follow up and she didn't agree. But I'm paying for my insurance and I deserve a wellness check up every year. Finally she did order for that. HgbA1c was abnormal then I got a letter from her office to follow up in 4 months. I don't believe that she care about her patients. Only the one thing I remember about my appointment was hearing her opinions about current researches, honestly that was very boring. I was there for a wellness check up which is free and I got a bill because she send the lab order as diagnostic test instead of wellness checkup. read more

I spent from Monday to Thursday trying to contact the and nobody answer the phone and finally on Thursday when they did The representative had and attitude and was eating while talking to me .To add to that situation the doctor that I am looking to see don't have no appointments and the lady basically told me to that I needed to accommodate my schedule to what they have available. I have been going here for 3 years but it is time for a change. The doctors have been for the most part very good. Unfortunately, the 20 minutes to hold every time I call in is getting old. The person doing the referrals continually refers me to specialists not on my insurance or does not handle the issues I had, and recently it took me over a week to get a prescription refilled. A referral was expiring the day before a visit with my surgeon and the referral person said she knew nothing about it. I left an urgent message for my physicians nurse, and she did not call back for over 24 hours. I went to my surgeon for a follow up the next morning with no referral, prepared pay out of my pocket. Good doctors for the most part, short wait in the waiting room but trying to reach someone on the phone is a nightmare and that group does not care if they assist you or not. read more

If I could give no stars, I would! My kids have been coming here for two years and the have never seen the same doctor twice. I think this place is a training camp for residents that need to get their feet wet. The residents are disguised because they work under veteran doctors, but when you arrive you will never see the doctor that you selected. After my most recent visit, I will NEVER go back!!! We waited an hour and 15 minutes to see yet another NEW doctor. The room they left us waiting in smelled like dirty, shit-filled diapers masked in enough Lysol to choke a horse. After I complained, a "doctor" came in and proceeded to give a sports physical to my son who was there for a well-child exam. I could go on, but I am sitting here with Dr. Know-nothing now & I need to watch her to make sure she doesn't give my son a colonoscopy. read more

Moved here in fall after recently retiring from the medical profession...I know how taxing finding a qualified, trustworthy, dependable physician can be. I needed a PCP for overall checkup, labs, CXR, etc. and took a chance on this group after several recommendations. Scheduled an appointment quickly and without problems. Appointment was for 9:00am. Arrived at checkin at 8:40; seated for the long wait at 8:52am. Just opened book when I was addressed by name and brought to exam room at 8:55am. Needless to say I was shocked! Tech was extremely pleasant and professional. After reviewing chart and taking vitals and asking other pertinent questions, she said the doctor would be right in shortly. (Right...). At 9:05am, a soft knock on the door and entering the room along with the tech is Dr. Ramashilpa Sudireddy (amazing!!!). Dr. Sudireddy spent some time just getting to know me and why we relocated to the Houston area. Then, she moved on to my personal and family medical history...very thorough and in-depth questions. Thorough physical examination. Tests were ordered, EKG done, and labs performed in a timely fashion. I was out of the door by 10:15am. Other consults were already arranged and waiting for me at the checkout desk. I have NEVER had a more pleasurable and constructive medical experience! If you are actually ill (and I mean ..really ill because you refuse to go to the doctor until it's a last resort), don't waist your money or time at this clinic. Read the reviews ... they're true. The staff here has no experience ... they will not help you! -- I'm going out of network tomorrow (Back to Kelsey) so that I can get some help from my doctor who is experienced and actually cares about my well-being! My husband is a patient and has been for years. He says the doctors, nurses are good. The entire purpose of this review is my experience with their back office staff - specifically billing department. I had been making payments for the remaining out of pocket balance from a procedure my husband had. I was paying $100 a month and was just about to make my final payment. Instead of getting the next statement, we received a letter advising they turned the account over to a collection agency. When I called, I had to leave a message - no return call received. When I called again, the girl who answered their billing line was not trained. She asked me for the account number 3 times and still could not assist. She advised me that it was up to me to call them to request a payment plan agreement. Seems odd considering that is their policy, I was making payments - if a signed agreement was needed all they had to do was make a proactive phone call out to advise they needed this document signed. But instead she put me on hold for 10 minutes and never came back. I hung up and called again, this time asking for a manager. I was told all managers were in a meeting and could not be disturbed. Needless to say, I will just pay the outstanding balance as I would have done anyways and hope that the next time my husband sees his doctor we do not have a repeat of their rude, disrespectful billing department who lacks any level of customer service. read more

I love my main doctor, Dr. Geraldine Gossard, but had to see someone else, to get in that day. My appointment was with Dr. Monica Martinez. While I think she is a caring physician, I was in a lot of pain from a pulled back, and the prescription she was supposed to have phoned in never got called into the pharmacy. I called back to the office but she and the nurses were gone and the file indicated that she had never ok'ed it to be phoned in. So I had to wait around the pharmacy to check all this out, go another night in pain, and then back to work because I could not take off. I had to call back to the dr. office and I now have to wait until after work to pick up the prescription. Not a happy camper. Monica, I respect you for being a dr. but you are not Dr. Gossard. She would not let this happen. You should double check everything before you head home... read more
