What immediately impressed me was that he took into account not only the condition of my knees, but also who I am as a patient and what I hope to get back to doing. Until recently, I was competing in CrossFit at an elite level and had ranked among the top 10 worldwide in my age group in the CrossFit Open, against thousands of competitors. My goal is not simply to make my knees feel better--I want, if reasonably possible, to return to a very high level of athletic activity. Dr. Wells understood that distinction. He is personable, engaging, exceptionally empathetic, and remarkably knowledgeable. Most importantly, he listened carefully to my concerns and took the time to answer every question I had. There were several different options and approaches available for treating my knees, and he explained each one clearly, including the potential benefits, limitations, and alternatives. What impressed me most was his willingness to actually give me his medical judgment. Rather than simply laying out a menu of options and leaving me to figure it out on my own, he explained what he would recommend for me, based on the latest medical evidence, his clinical experience, and what he has seen work in actual patients. He even told me what he would do if he were in my shoes, taking into account my particular circumstances and goals. That kind of thoughtful, confident guidance is surprisingly rare--and enormously valuable when you are making an important medical decision. Even better, Dr. Wells combines that depth of knowledge with the ability to translate it into a practical, realistic treatment plan tailored to the individual patient and his or her lifestyle. In my case, that means understanding that returning to serious athletic training and competition matters to me. I left the appointment feeling that he had truly understood my situation and had carefully thought through the best path forward. His staff is equally impressive. Nancy is an absolute pleasure to deal with--warm, helpful, and genuinely pleasant every time she answers the phone. And Carmen, who handles other administrative matters, will remind you of your favorite aunt who always made sure your favorite dessert was waiting when you came to visit. That combination of professionalism, warmth, and friendliness sets the tone for the entire practice: relaxed, welcoming, great energy, and very nice offices. I highly recommend Dr. Wells, particularly to athletes and active individuals dealing with knee, shoulder, or other joint problems. He is exactly the kind of physician you hope to find when you are trying to make an important decision about your care.

The MA showed me to a room, left and didn't shut the door. The staff with the office manager right there at the reception desk started talking loudly about a patient they referred to "as that old lady" who was being difficult in payer her bill. I had to walk out to the desk and tell them I could hear every word of their loud conversation and how unprofessional they were being referring to a patient as "that old lady". Dr Wells said he read my previous review and was taking steps to improve and he did ask his staff to shut the exam room door.

He's usually right there to greet you with a smile, ask how you are feeling. My first visit I got an immediate reaction from him as if he knew some things before I told him. Simple, basic form to fill out on first visit, as you would anywhere. His work area is clean and well kept. I do basic acupuncture for now, but I'm interested in cupping and some of the other treatments he offers. As I said I got immediate results in my jaw pain and sleeping issues- not everyone is lucky enough to get immediate results but regardless, acupuncture works and Dr Ding is the best. He has two offices, one in Pompano and the one that I visit in Lauderhill. He also has healing Chinese Herbs available but doesn't push them on you. All in all, Dr Ding is the only acupuncturist for me now. I recommend him to all.

Traditional Chinese Acupuncture is a highly recommended natural effective alternative treatment…read moreoption for many ailments. Also excellent as a routine preventative maintenance regiment for overall well-being. Ask Dr. Ding which treatment options would best suit your specific needs. Be it acupuncture, acupressure or other specialized natural treatments, in which he will gladly tailor to your specific needs. Dr. Zhenguo Ding draws patients willing to travel from across the globe to receive treatments in his Lauderhill office. Treatments that have successfully cured ailments ranging from chronic pain such as fibromyalgia, Bells Palsy and other palsies, to customized Cancer treatments. Cancer treatment plans, that have for many, -following a case by case aggressive natural treatment plan, left zero traces of the disease during radiology follow-ups via MRI scans. Dr. Ding is a very kind, professional and skilled practitioner, that cares a great deal for his patients, and HEALING, rather than simply treating "symptoms" with surgery or prescription drugs, as with much of today's modern medicine. I have been a patient of Dr. Ding for the past 2+ years following a brain tumor that I had undergone a 7 hour brain surgery procedure to remove in 2009. The procedure ultimately rendered me not only 100% deaf in 1 ear, but with 90% facial paralysis on the right side of my face. Despite the fact that I work with a network of surgeons between Los Angeles and Miami, that are amidst the "Top 10 Doctors in the Nation", specializing in Nuerotology/Otolaryngology, even they suggested I would at best after corrective reanimation surgeries, only have 30% facial return to function on the affected side. This would also be after completing a similar invasive surgery such as the initial tumor removal. Even with corrective surgery, there still would be no guarantee of a successful outcome, or that the corrective procedures wouldn't do more harm than good. As it was, I had already gone through enough, and the odds were not to my delight. At which point I researched alternative medicine specific to paralysis treatments. I discovered through "Pub Med" how Chinese Doctors overseas we're using acupuncture with electric stimulation. Concluding a higher success rate for recovery, and nerve return-to function. I then sought out specialists in FL, which is how I found Dr. Ding. After only 3 months of treatment, I noticed my first signs of nerve function return. Nearly 2 years later, the outcome has exceeded the recovery outcome projected by my other treating MD's, had I have taken the surgical approach. To date, due to Dr. Dings' incredible care, I have approximately 80% function return, and the physical ability to create a smile from both corners of my mouth! According to the House Brackman Scale, I'm approx. a "3") =D Dr. Zhenguo Ding is the best in his expertise, and not just "one of my doctors" yet, a treasured friend. =] His incredible bedside manner, experience, patience, and willingness to educate his patients -by far surpasses the more popular demand for any modern medicine practitioner. Not to mention beneficial RESULTS which speaks for itself!
