He maximized what we were getting back on our return and we got much more money back. Their fee is totally worth it. I have been getting my taxes done by H&R Block for many years. I understand that each year the…read moreprice for tax preparation does increase at a reasonable rate. However, this year there was an increase of $145 to my preparation fee from last years preparation fee. I think this is totally outrageous and I caution anyone intending to use H&R Block to check on their fees before scheduling an appointment. I filed my taxes online,but forgot to enter my unemployment. I read that I need to get my taxes amended, so i scheduled an appt at this location. At first she said she doesnt "do these", then she went on saying she "doesnt like to do these". I asked her if I don't need to do amend my tax return or if I can enter it for next year. She said.... I dont know what she said.. she kept going around in circles, couldn't really explain. I thought maybe shes new, but she has been working at H&R for 3yrs. I don't recommend this place.
