STOP READING YELP REVIEWS! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR - CHOOSE THIS GUY!…read more Not only am I VERY pleased with my pictures, but I had a GREAT time during the shoot. Greg is the kind of guy you'd WANT to spend the afternoon with, like an old friend, or a life-coach, a coffee buddy! When trying to find the right photographer, more often than not, you're choosing based on his/her portfolio alone, but that's only the half of it. Being able to establish a great relationship is one of the most important things to consider when selecting a photographer. You want someone that you're comfortable with and someone that can read your personality well enough to capture you at your best. No awkward poses or artistic angles gone awry. Someone who is professional and knowledgable, but also incredibly fun. Greg has all those qualities and more! I felt ridiculously comfortable and trusted him wholeheartedly. He possesses a rare understanding of the performer's perspective in the business. There was a really solid dialogue between the two of us regarding what I was looking for and how I wished to improve upon my old headshots. Before, during and after the shoot, he was exceptionally helpful. Greg also had incredible feedback about wardrobe. (So many times, I feel like the day can easily become about the clothes I'm wearing instead of just getting a fantastically honest picture of me being me!) Greg kept me on task while allowing me to shine. And he would show me pictures on the screen on back of his camera during the shoot and we would talk about what was working and what wasn't. Greg also gives amazing direction... Both emotional and physical/mechanical direction - "Tell me about your favorite thing you did on your most recent trip to Disneyland", "Tilt your head, chin up, shoulder forward, twist your torso just a touch to the..." etc! Whatever I needed, he was right there with encouragement, support and a smile. I couldn't be happier with the whole experience! I would enthusiastically recommend Greg to all my friends and look forward to working with him again in the future!

Jon Swift photographed our wedding in Stonington. He met with us before the event and showed us…read moredifferent options as examples, listened to what we thought, and came up with a personalized plan to meet our needs. He and his assistant caught the whole event - the guests arriving, the bridal party waiting in the chapel and the back rooms of the church, every aspect of the ceremony, all the guests, the families gathering outside the church, the guests being lead through the village by bag pipers to the reception, and everything about the wonderful reception - without us even being aware of anything except our wedding. Jon had asked exactly what we wanted, showed us examples to help us make decisions, and had a clear contract. He did exactly what he said he would do. The pictures are spectacular! He gave us links to share with family and friends. They bought pictures, we bought a larger album than we originally thought we would, and gave pictures as gifts. As contracted, we received a digital copy of all photographs taken that day with our wedding album so we can make any additional copies we wanted for ourselves, family, and friends. Jon always got right back to us and met us at convenient times. He is very professional and very pleasant. We highly recommend him.

We simply gave him the schedule and locations for our wedding day, and he took it from there. It is invaluable working with a vendor who you trust because there are so many other things to think about during the planning process. Throughout the course of the day, Chris did his thing without getting in the way of us or our guests. We barely knew he was there except for the fact that him and the other cameraman actually got in our photo booth and signed our guest book! That about sums up how fun and wonderful he is to work with! As far as our wedding video goes, Chris captured the complete essence of our day. It was perfect, and we really couldn't have asked for a better finished product. All our friends and family (guest and non-guests) have been raving about it. Even our other vendors (venue, band and hair/makeup) said it was one of the best they had ever seen. It seems like most viewers cried, laughed and smiled throughout the whole thing. Our video was not your average wedding video with simply the highlights of the day. It told the entire story of our wedding, capturing the perfect moments with amazing music to accompany them. We can't wait to watch our video for generations to come. Thank you Chris Walsh Productions for knocking our video out of the park - we will sing your praises and recommend you forever!

Well we planned on having the photos being taken outdoors at Avery Point. We walked around Avery Point and the Branford House taking pictures - - Nina took close to 200 photos. Boy was she ever patient - - dealing with a group of 12, with 5 kids - - one being a 6 month old infant and another being a 5 year old with the attention span of a 5 year old.
