One of the worst experiences. I have hardly any clear photos at all - most are either blurry or pixelated or washed out. I have NO pictures of my guests I have NO pictures of my full dress/train with anyone -all pictures are cutting us off mid torso or above the ankles. Please do not trust Taylor with taking your wedding pictures. Her specialty is mini sessions with props. My husband and I got married in October. The day of my wedding she showed up late, with a dead phone(the only copy of the list she had of my requested portraits), and apparently the wrong equipment(which she'd later use as an excuse for bad photos). Unfortunately it rained the day of my wedding and she knew ahead of time about the weather and she would be shooting indoors. She assured me if the rain stopped we could run out for some photos because outdoor background/lighting was important to me. She was extremely impersonable and rushed us through everything. I was very uncomfortable through the whole process. Family portraits were important to me, she said that isn't why she was there so she rushed through them only taking one of each group it felt like. I asked if we could do them outside because the rain had stopped and she said no and lined everyone up on a staircase. She said that it was good lighting and the images would turn out great. They are awful, you can't even see who is in the back, and they are blurry. She claimed the couples photos were her specialty, so I assumed I would at least get good shots of my husband and I. Not the case. She finally agreed to let us go outside (we provided someone to hold an umbrella over her for the few sprinkles still coming down) and she rushed us through those as well. I don't have a single full length shot of my husband and I or anyone for that matter. The pictures she provided are chopping us or my bouquet off, blurry, horrible poses, etc. When I reached out to her after getting the pictures, she placed all the blame on me and said she tried to get me to do more pictures outside and I refused. Lies. She blames the weather and the lighting, all excuses. Once the rain subsided the lighting was fine outside. And neither the lighting nor the weather can excuse the horrible angles and shots she took. I may as well have taken selfies for how zoomed in her shots are. And I would have gotten better quality with my phone too. She's refusing to refund my money and I've found multiple reviews calling her out on her fraudulent business. I can't believe she's been ripping people off for this many years but please don't let her fool you. read more

I honestly wouldn't give this photographer a half a star. This wedding photographer was courteous when we first met her and booked our wedding with her 8 months in advance but throughout this time period approaching our wedding she reportedly tried to renegotiate the contract, tried to schedule our engagement pictures when it was most convenient for her and not when we're specifically wanted them taken, and was running behind on our wedding day. This was the least of it... my wife and I tried to stay patient with Taylor and her shenanigans but by after the engagement pictures being quickly rushed, we should have decided to cancel any further business with her but we chose not to. On the wedding day she was an hour late, and started shooting pics when my wife was halfway through her makeup. During the prewedding pics her husband who was her back up photographer seemed drunk or almost tipsy(he did smell like alcohol), because he was taking random photographs of the bridesmaids and groomsmen even before they were situated in position. They both failed to bring the photo booth set up with props as purchased in the contract. They were started to get frustrated with some of the guests and interested of coordinating with the wedding planner, they mouthed off at the guests rather than remedy the situation in a mature manner. They didn't stick around there wedding reception for very long to take more pressures even though we were suppose to have them for the whole evening. The entire time during the prewedding shoots, ceremony shoots, and reception shoots they were constantly conflicting with the videographer and in his shots all the time(no coordinating with others). Luckily the video of the wedding came out awesomely after the videographer pieced together the raw footage but he that there were a bunch of cute shots lost because odd Taylor offer her husband randomly stepping in the way. Lastly, the coup de gras was the pictures issue, the main reason for hiring Taylor. First problem was that any professional photographer would tell you that it takes 8 to 12 weeks to receive wedding photos, Taylor sent ours 21 weeks after these wedding. When we called her she used every excuse in the book during that 21wks to explain wnt they went done yet, and most times would catch her in a lie. If she only told us that she was overloaded with work we would try to understand better but nothing but lies. Finally we had to threaten her with small claims court to get them because we had no idea when we would get the pics. She sent us a quick copy of unfinished, unedited pics. After talking to her about the poor quality she said that she would smother copy. Two more months later, as I'd she forgot to send them to us, and after ignoring or calls, she finally sent odd another disc of pics. Unedited, discoloured, and distorted this time, the pics were worse than the previous ones. By this time Taylor was only responding to us but text, and not in a very good fashion. She was admitted by us, but all we asked was for her to do her job and give us our wedding photos completed. Needless to say, we took her to small claims court, and she refused to pay our money back. Everytime we send our a court documents her and her husband have relocated yet again like they've been doing this for a while, dodging legalities of there falsified or bad work. They now have a bench warrant out for their arrest due too failure to show up in court and failure to pay theirs debts to us. After done investigating we find out they have ruined other people's wedding as well in Kentucky, Tennessee, Kansas, and in Missouri. We've tracked down one other small claims case against them in and a few other unsatisfied customers who opened cases on them but never spent the extra money to doing anything because it costs a great deal of effort and determination to track them down. They are mentioned in weddingwire.com, better business bureau website, on Yelp, etc. Check it out. I fully discourage anyone doing business with them and if you do, make it a simple job so they should be able to handle it and worst case you are not out much money if they fail you. read more

Poor customer service, poor experience, poor photos. If I could put zero stars I absolutely would. I would not recommend ANYONE using this company. I apologize for the long review but I honestly don't want any other bride to have to go through what I did. I am so upset with how my wedding day went, how I was treated by Taylor and her husband, and how my pictures turned out. Days before my wedding Taylor texts me to say that she has a family "emergency" and can't make it and only her husband will make it. So her husband and a second shooter come along. Neither Ben or the second shooter seemed to know what was going on. THE ENTIRE day they had to be directed on how to do their job. My mother-in-law had to direct family photos to make sure they were done, I requested pictures that were ignored, and the second shooter on multiple occasions said to me that she didn't know what poses to do and made inappropriate comments about the main photographer. The absolute worst part of the day was when we left the church and drove to a nearby park to take bridal party photos. The videographer and photographers beat the bridal party there and parked near each other. However, as soon as the bridal party arrived ready to take photos Ben and the second shooter were no where to be found. I called Ben several times with no answer. My entire bridal party, including my husband and I, AND my videographer had to go searching through the park to find our photographers. I honestly thought they had took off. It took a half an hour to find them. A half an hour on my wedding day that we had to run around a park frantically because our photographers were no where to be found. Once we found them, no explanation was given and no apology. It was strange they disappeared together, rude they never apologized and was just an absolute mess. Following my wedding day was lies after lies after lies. Taylor was disrespectful, rude, and could not seem to ever be honest with me. It got to the point where I thought I would never receive my pictures from my wedding. I was originally told my sneak peak pictures would come in 3 days after the wedding...they came after a month of asking. Then, I was told I would get all my wedding pictures in 3-6 weeks...they after 4 months of asking, begging and then eventually planning to sue this company. Instead of ever taking responsibility, Taylor just had excuses for everything. I have finally received my pictures (like I said once I was ready to sue) and they are not at all what you want for your wedding day. The majority are blurry, out of focus, and many special moments were missed. Please save yourself the heartbreak and use a different photographer. read more

Taylor did senior pictures for 2 of my daughters and did an awesome job!!! They were unique and turned out great. She was very personable!!

Three days before the wedding, May 23, 2018, we were notified that neither owner of the company would be attending our wedding and neither owner would be taking pictures due to an illness. Instead, another photographer was sent who they stated had done jobs for Photographs by Taylor for two years. As the contract states on the third point of the contract signed, "3. Photographs will be in digital format on a CD or Flash Drive within 4 - 6 weeks." On June 20, 2018, we contacted Taylor for an estimated time that our wedding photos would be completed, in which she responded that they would be finished in two weeks or less. Three weeks later on July 24, 2018, we contacted Taylor again with questions regarding when our wedding pictures would be finished, she responded that she was mailing the pictures on a disc that week. Again, on August 6, 2018, we made a third attempt to obtain our wedding pictures and Taylor claimed that she had already mailed the pictures the previous week of July 29th and that it normally takes a few days to receive in the mail. On August 11, 2018, my wife and I notified Taylor again asking for the tracking number for the pictures she claimed to send and she didn't provide a tracking number because she supposedly sent the disc using stamps. On the same day, we finally decided to ask her to send compressed zip file of the pictures via email and she failed to do so. A fifth contact was made to her regarding the pictures that she took 12 weeks prior and six weeks past the contract due date because we still had not received any pictures. After confronting her she responded, "I'll get a new copy in the mail today and send you a pic." No picture was ever sent to us via text of the package that she was supposed to be mailing, in fact we contacted her the same day to verify she did mail the disc containing our pictures and she agreed she did mail them on August 17th. The sixth contact we made to Taylor and on August 24, 2018, was to again ask for our wedding pictures. We notified her that we were going to send someone to pick the pictures up since she still had not mailed any disc to us, we live 75 miles away equaling one hour and 24 minutes. She responded, "I can get a cd made now and put it in my mailbox I'll be in and out today." The disc containing the pictures was picked up and she had the disc being secured in "The Hangover" movie case to be picked up in. We requested a refund in the amount of $375 to cover the costs for another photographer to restage and take pictures of the portrait photos of the bride and groom together since her photographer only got three to four staged pictures of us, to cover costs for traveling 75 miles to get the pictures after an agreement was made that she would mail them, failure to release all edited and original versions of pictures as described in the package we purchased, and for the lack of professionalism demonstrated by the owners and the company to comply with the contract and contract deadlines which was written and designed by her company. To date, we have agreed on a $225 refund and we have yet to receive it and she no longer responds to emails or texts. read more

I was very excited to work with this company after seeing reviews and wonderful pictures on Facebook. The pricing was also very reasonable. We started with our engagement pictures. We were told they took 2 weeks to get back and we would get a sneak peek in 1 week. After a week, I contacted the photographer and asked when we would receive our sneek peek. I was then informed that sneek peek aren't a gaurentee and she didn't have time to do one. Ok, whatever I only had 1 more week to wait to see them...wrong.....we got them 1 week late after me having to contact her multiple times. Moving on to the wedding. They take 6-8 weeks to receive sneek peek in 3 weeks. 4 weeks later I inquire about my sneek peek and was told she had it ready and would send it to me the next day. So after a couple days i let her know i never recieved ,only to be informed they were running behind and didn't have time to do one. Wait, i thought she said she had it done already. Obvious lie. Moving along to 8 weeks...inquire about my pictures and was told they were almost done. They overbooked themselves and were running behind. Finally recieved HALF my pictures 10 weeks after wedding via email. Supposedly 2 other files were sent as well which I never recieved. 1 month later I let her know I had not got them still. She said she would mail me a DVD will all pictures on it. It is now 4 months after my wedding and I still have not gotten half of my pictures. Now upon inquiring about them, I am getting no response. Would caution anyone on booking this photographer if you want your pictures back in a timely manner...or at all. read more
