After several attempts with multiple laptops and cords, they said it must be a hardware issue and since I no longer have warranty on it, they could give me a replacement phone for approx. $720!!! And I would need to give up my "dead" phone to get the replacement for that price. I didn't want to give it up as I know the battery and screen are still good. A good friend of mine recommended I get Ross and his team at Think Monkey to give it a go. I figured why not, its already not working. Well Im SO GLAD I DID!!! They got it up and running within minutes of opening it up! Johanna did an amazing job, she took her time and ensured all aspects of the phone was working before getting it back to me. Then about 3 months later the actual top of my screen popped out which also cracked my screen. I look at the screen where it popped out and you can clearly actual screen and the LED glue separating. I took it back in after 3 months of having it done and the guy says tells me it's water damage which is ridiculous because I use a waterproof case and regardless I've dropped previous iPhones in a hot tub and have never had the screen delaminate or have white dots and lines appear. My conclusion is terribe work done , terrible cheap parts being used but they still charge you 200$.

I then went across the hall in the mall to Best Buy Mobile to ask if they dealt at all with Rogers. Jessie Gay assisted me with checking the phone, and when it was apparent there was no problem with it, she called Rogers on my behalf. Gage Hanke helped out with this as well. It literally took 4 HOURs of calling, being put on hold for half an hour at a time and going through different agents on the other end to resolve it. I absolutely could not have done it without Jesse and Gage speaking on my behalf, asking the right questions and letting me use their store phone. They served other customers in between me being on hold, and were cheerful throughout. I needed to have GPS working for a job I was starting in January so it was very important to me. Jessie and Gage did not expect me to make a purchase, but how could I leave after that amazing customer service without buying anything? I had been looking for an emergency radio, and indeed Best Buy had one in their catalogue. I ordered that, it arrived quite quickly and I'm very happy with it. I recommend Best Buy to everyone. To get such amazing assistance when I wasn't a customer yet, has convinced me to always go there first in the future!
