Mud, Sweat & Tears design and craft stoneware and porcelain pottery. And not only is it great to look at, it is totally functional as well (they state it to be microwave safe, oven proof, dishwater safe, and contains no toxic materials), and so beautiful too - with what we think are quite unique, lovely, and colourful glazings (inside and out).
We first saw their pottery on display, and for sale last year, at Canwest Art's 'Gallery on the Lake' in Harrison Hot Springs, and could not resist buying several pieces for ourselves and as family gifts. Several coffee mugs, and small, stoneware 'pots' (each filled with gourmet honey - from Nicola Valley, Merritt, BC), came home with us from those first sightings of their offerings.
When we were back in Harrison this May, although we did not buy any additional pieces, we sure admired several (especially their 'bean pots' and/or 'casserole dishes' - they are just gorgeous!!), and developed a "wish list" to be considered when we return for a stay this September.
