He was so impressed and has told other people to use him as well. I'm sure other places offer this, but you can get your refund directly deposited into your bank account. You can also send everything to his company electronically. It makes it so easy. Then of course, he will follow up and tell me everything I forgot to send in I don't know if he literally keeps notes on every client but he always seems to remember tidbits about my personal life. Although he is one of the nerdiest people I have ever met (Sorry! It is said with love!) He is the best CPA. He actually enjoys going to all of the conferences and learning about tax law. Who likes to learn about tax law?? This guy, apparently. His face literally lights up when he talks about numbers. I have had the pleasure of working with him on my personal and business taxes for almost 8 years now and he always surprises me with his level of detail in doing whatever is necessary to assist me with my taxes. My husband and I sometimes "forget" what he tells us to do and he of course has to fix it at tax time. Consistently, like perfect clockwork...he sifts through my attempt at collecting what he needs and during my 1 hour visit, he gives me an idea of what I am getting as a refund or owe. In most cases, it is a refund...like I said...he's superman! Aside for being one of the smartest and kind guys you could know, he's a loving family man and his pride and love for his family always shines through at every annual visit. I truly stand in awe of this gentleman...not only for his great numbers skills but as a truly good person. He's one of the good guys! I hope this review makes up for all the years of him shaking his head at me saying, "Kimi....we did discuss this last year!" ...and me saying, "Ohhhh, your right...I forgot!" Back in April we had our taxes done and asked for direct deposit. It's the end of August and we…read morehave not received our money yet. We have called every week..sometimes 2to 3 times per week, and always get an excuse. They NEVER called to tell us there was any problem, nor have they EVER returned any calls to us. It's like chasing a ghost. The IRS has no record of our taxes being filed at all. I'm about to report them to the state of NY tax department. We absolutely do not recommend them, unless of course you want ZERO customer service.
