I have been using Greg for years. He is the nicest, most human accountant I have ever met. It's not…read morejust about numbers. He will talk to you and ask you questions to understand you and he will offer his insights. After I got married, I told my husband we absolutely needed to go to Greg each year. He was so impressed and has told other people to use him as well. I'm sure other places offer this, but you can get your refund directly deposited into your bank account. You can also send everything to his company electronically. It makes it so easy. Then of course, he will follow up and tell me everything I forgot to send in I don't know if he literally keeps notes on every client but he always seems to remember tidbits about my personal life. Although he is one of the nerdiest people I have ever met (Sorry! It is said with love!) He is the best CPA. He actually enjoys going to all of the conferences and learning about tax law. Who likes to learn about tax law?? This guy, apparently. His face literally lights up when he talks about numbers. So if you are in the area, or not (he does taxes all over!) don't go to one of the chain companies, and definitely don't leave it to yourself if you are like me with numbers. Go to Greg. He will help you.

GREG COOPER IS THE SUPERMAN OF NUMBERS!…read more Okay folks, I wouldn't be overstating it by telling you my husband and I LOVE Greg Cooper CPA. I have had the pleasure of working with him on my personal and business taxes for almost 8 years now and he always surprises me with his level of detail in doing whatever is necessary to assist me with my taxes. My husband and I sometimes "forget" what he tells us to do and he of course has to fix it at tax time. Consistently, like perfect clockwork...he sifts through my attempt at collecting what he needs and during my 1 hour visit, he gives me an idea of what I am getting as a refund or owe. In most cases, it is a refund...like I said...he's superman! Aside for being one of the smartest and kind guys you could know, he's a loving family man and his pride and love for his family always shines through at every annual visit. I truly stand in awe of this gentleman...not only for his great numbers skills but as a truly good person. He's one of the good guys! I hope this review makes up for all the years of him shaking his head at me saying, "Kimi....we did discuss this last year!" ...and me saying, "Ohhhh, your right...I forgot!" I know I'm not the only one who drives him crazy at tax time but I know, year after year that I'm being represented by a truly honest person and that's worth the long drive to get to him. This girl can sleep at night knowing Greg is on the job! I originally lived 30 min from his main office then moved 2 hrs away and still drove there. Along with a few bouts in Florida...still sent the taxes. I'll never leave him...he's that awesome! Greg has offices in Mongaup Valley, NY; Goshen, NY and Bardonia, NY. You can find him at cooperarias.com. I use the Bardonia, NY office because his office staff there rock as well. Marian manages his office there and she has been so helpful with all my needs. It doesn't surprise me that Greg has great staff but Marian has quickly become my favorite and go to girl! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this rock star of a CPA and his wonderful staff!!!! P.S. Greg, if you ever read this... I'll see you soon...hee, hee.
