Most painful pedicure I have ever received. Technician going so fast for no reason, because no one waiting. She called out "done ma'am" when finished, picked up her tray, and gave me zero assistance to get out of the chair that kept me so far away my knee was locked for most of the time. I looked down and saw this mess and asked, "is this NASCAR, or is she late for something more pressing?" Another technician working in someone had to help me out of chair and I paid $55 for this! I will NOT be back and should have left 0 tip, but don't want to wait till on the $5 change. Sawed off the top polish, left polish on the right second toe and filed the sides of nearly every one of my toes to the point of blood. I asked for nothing to be cut, so she filed them down to nothing and my toes are killing me. Beware!! I want to give a zero for the amount that should have been left to technician.

I got a new full set of gel x nails. I paid 108 with tip and got charged 20$ extra for the most simple design there is. My nails feel flimsy and my nail fell off. AFTER 2 DAYS. I went back today and asked for a repair and asked to not pay considering they we 108$ and should NOT be falling off. It took no more than 5 minutes to fix my nail and they charged me 5 dollars. I am now home and have now noticed another nail has cracked and is bending. Just sloppy job in my opinion. I am not usually one to complain but when I spend now what costs 114$ on only my nails I am going to be upset. My nail I got redone is my thumb and was just done very sloppy and doesn't look like any of the other nails.

real nails grown out underneath with dirt not removed

NEVER GO HERE!!!! 1. went w a group of friends and they only took 3/4 of us - totally forgot about the 4th and we were already done with all of our nails 2. went to get my gel x nails taken off and redone. she didnt take them off, only put gel polish at the bottom of where my nails had grown out. my fingernails underneath remained long and disgusting. charged me for a full set and extra for shaping (literally a regular round shape????). a nail fell off within 4 hours so had to go back the next day for a nail repair where my nail tech started arguing with me and then they started putting acrylic nails on before i had to remind them my nails were gel x. Kieu has no idea what she's doing and was quite rude! Horrible service unfortunately. Save your money and go to Vynus

redness and boils around my cuticle area

DO NOT GO HERE. No wonder there is a 2.5 star rating. I got my last set here and got a fill two days ago. Within 24 hours, the skin around my nails started to blister and flake all around my fingers. I usually do my own nails but wanted to treat myself for my birthday. I came to get them taken off and a refund after I paid $75 (including service and tip). Said I could get $30 back, so I said okay. Afterwards, gave me $20 IN A GIFT CARD. Everyone was very rude except the lady next to me who offered me $20 for the gift card. The receptionist made me sign a "contract" out of blue men and notebook paper saying I received the $20 gift card after being told I would get $30. Literal joke of a business. Also, recommend looking at my last name "Nguyen" before talking in Vietnamese in front of me like I am not there.

So originally I gave this place 5 stars. I have since been back twice and those experiences were not as good as the first. On the second experience, I had a man. He had me soak my hands in acetone for almost 20 minutes. Then he aggressively filed my nails which caused me to bleed. He also didn't let the gel sit long enough under the light so I had bubbling. I just went again for a pedicure and gel French nails. The pedicure was great. The French gel....is one of the worst French nails I've ever had. The lines are not even, she didn't do square or round just some random style. I'm graduating which is why I got my nails done. Then I guess she did the manicure when I just wanted gel (they will charge you extra for the manicure). Pedicure and French gel was supposed to be $50. Somehow got charged $68 before tip. I guess I'll just find somewhere closer to me to go. I went here to spend less money, but I should have just paid $60 in my area for better quality.

My first experience here was fantastic with mike! But I got my nails done here for a second time by xandra and she was rude and passively aggressive. I explained to her what I wanted and also showed her pictures. My nails came out super chunky and super sloppy. The first is the inspo pic and the other is what she charged me $65 for!! After the first mail I told her it was too thick but she insisted that it'll look good when she finished. I paid the price and scheduled a polish change for the next day. Xandra and her husband refused to take me and made a huge scene in the establishment regarding my polish change. Luckily mike agreed to take me to redo their botched work. If you come to this establishment avoid these two people!

I would not recommend this nail salon to anyone. The nail tech who did my nails, David, was extremely rough with my cuticles, even to the point of making me bleed on three fingers. He did not seem to care that he was hurting me and just kept telling me to relax. Two days later and my cuticles are still inflamed and sore. When I asked to speak with the manager to share my concerns so that no one else would have to experience this, I was told she was busy doing nails and that they would write down my complaint. I was told someone would call and follow up with me, but that never happened.

Posting this as a long time customer. The photos with the ring on are the minute I walked out of the salon after I got this gel builder and tips on. It's far from my cuticle and looks like how I would expect my nails to look 5-7 days later. I've even asked friends what day they would think this is and no one has said less than 5. I had been very busy and didn't have time go into the salon because I work 3 jobs. So I went in today (day 8) and asked if there was anything they could do. I was told that I could pay for a fill but that it's not their problem my nails grow fast. Then I asked if they can at least remove them, to which I was told yes, for $15. I said I've been a long time customer and have been going since they opened (and I'm not really sure why because of other reasons I'll get into) but I said I will never go back. I said this costs a lot of money to not love the outcome, to which I was told "it's not expensive". On top of that I had already asked the woman to cut the tips shorter twice during the initial appointment and gave up when she wasn't listening. At one point she actually smacked my hand too because I went to move my hand into the light not realizing she didn't want me to yet. This really was when I gave up on trying to communicate and wanted the appointment to end. Other reviews from previous experiences: -I've always felt rushed in and out with gel and dip powder left on my fingers. -I've had to wait even when I made an appointment. -I've left with bleeding cuticles from the nail grinder. -The employees are not friendly.

A big chunk of hard gel

I'm giving this place 2 stars. The people are nice but this is the second time the artist leaves hard gel still on. I should say something of course but I am paying for the service to be done correctly without me needing to tell them. I have a toddler and a newborn who I accidentally scratched my newborns face with the hard gel on the side of my finder. Pretty disappointed especially for what you pay.

I have been a regular here, but wow, if you aren't going to Christina? Good luck getting a decent mani! I went to Phoenix nail bar today, and ended up getting trespassed. Let me tell you how. For my birthday, I decided to get my nails done I don't go out in public much since I'm a survivor of domestic abuse and I suffer from complex PTSD. I find it very hard to communicate and I'm very afraid of conflict, I showed the nail tech, Lee, a photo of the nails I wanted. Additionally, I wanted a French tip underlay on my nails, but Lee couldn't figure out what I meant by "chunky French tip" so then Alina came to finish the job. I can't tell you how different it looked. On the picture, the flowers are quite large, but you can see that the finished product was not. By the time I had seen the tester nail, you know the one that they show you to make sure that you like it, it had already been cured, and I didn't feel like getting them redone as I had already been there for two hours. As I was leaving, I told them that it didn't really look like the photo and Alina erupted. Immediately, she began to argue with me about how it did look like the picture, and it was my direction that had resulted in it looking different. Of course, I had asked for them to put more flowers, because there was only two or three very small ones on each nail, and it looked awkward. I'd like to remind you all, I was just telling them -- I was going to pay. Then, Alina informs me that she will take off the design. Since I didn't really like it, I was completely fine with that. At that point, I asked him to remove all the nails, because after being belittled, by Alina-- who was repeatedly arguing with me that it was the spitting image of the photo... OK-- I did not want to support their business if they can act that unprofessional. Keep in mind, by the time I had finished speaking to Alina, she was very loudly complaining about me to the rest of the salon, and all the workers. I did not want to support them, especially after that. It was at that point that they informed me to take off the work that they had botched, it would be a fee of five dollars for the removal. After being treated so unkindly, I just wanted to leave. It was at that point that the receptionist began to argue with me as well screaming at me how I still had to pay. As I had requested for them to remove all the work, and was more than happy to part ways, I understandably wanted to just leave and never come back. It was at this point, if this could get any worse, that they barred me from leaving. Legally, that is called false imprisonment, and after the service I received today I will be pursuing action. Obviously, I called the police, as their behavior was quite literally illegal. When the cops arrived, they suddenly switched the amount of money, saying that they no longer wanted to remove the nails as I would "accuse them of something" and then informed me that it would actually be $60 for the half finished nails which now had no design nor color. The officer told me what I already knew, which was that this matter was civil, not criminal, and I could not be barred from leaving, nor could I have charges pressed against me for choosing not to pay for incorrect service. Of course, this was after they had called the security guard who also barred me from leaving, and I will be reporting that to his employer. Anyways, I left, but not before they trespassed me. Like... ok. You ate... huh? If you want really shitty nails, this is the place. (I've had manicures flake in less than three days.) If you want really shitty customer service, this is the place. (Read above.) If you don't like your nails, and have an affinity for being argued with, this is the place for you. I have attached a photo of the nails for sheer comedy value. I recommend never coming here, and it's such a shame that they have Christina who is an amazing nail tech.

Chipping, cracked and falling off in under a week and a half. There goes $60.

A friend recommended Phoenix and I was excited to check them out! I went in and got a cute dip powder manicure. 4 days later one of the nails popped off entirely. They had me come back in and fixed it at no cost. After 4 more days, my polish was chipping and 3 were broken in half. When I called to speak with them about my ($60+) manicure lasting not even a week and a half, I was told I could come in and PAY to have them repaired. I said I just wanted to have this set removed because it was obviously done poorly and looked terrible, and they refused to even take the set off for me without payment. I will never be coming back.

If you're reading this review, chances are you're contemplating getting a Brazilian wax. Let's be…read morereal: yes, they hurt. There's no avoiding it. But honestly, it's something I feel like people should try at least once. Yeah it hurts, but the result is so nice afterward plus you don't have to do any maintenance down there if you plan on going swimming or to the beach. I've gotten Brazilians at this location and one in Jacksonville and like the efficiency of Brazil's Waxing Center. At this location, Karen was the technician who did mine. She was super funny and personable and was great at distracting me. For pain tolerance reference, I've gotten my underarms waxed for several years and only recently started getting Brazilians. They hurt the most for the first 3 waxes, but as the hair gets thinner they hurt less and less. Honestly, the first time was the most painful and then after it was totally doable! A few tips for first time waxers: do NOT go work out right after your Brazilian or go swimming/do anything that could clog your pores for AT LEAST 24-48 hours after. If you ignore this recommendation from the technician, I almost guarantee you will get ingrown hairs. No one wants that. I actually really like the exfoliate and ingrown hair serum that they sell there, but I don't think the soap is worth the money. Bottom line: just try it!!
