Unit was extremely dirty inside and out. The repairman had to make several trips beginIng the first day I moved in. It seems this company pockets people's deposit and put the work off on the next tenet. Too bad this page doesn't allow public pictures to be posted, I bet there's a reason for that too. The place I rented is in much better condition now then when I moved in yet somehow I don't get my deposit back. The value of the property has gone up just by me living there. The place was a dump when I moved in. I found rodent fecal matter in the pantry and a cigarette butt in the hallway floor. And I specifically asked David if they where going to clean the place before I moved in. Yet I had the spend 50 dollars on cleaning chemicals and tools. I then spent half a day on my knees scrubbing the kitchen floor (which was black when I moved in) until I could see the yellow and green linoleum. Weekends were spent raking up over 20 bags of leaves from the yard and picking up a lot of broken glass. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. read more

Being a person not from Jackson, Tn. I appreciate and enjoy my apartment. Specially the amount of rent I pay. I feel I receive a lot for my money. Seeing where I come from the rent would be higher. Not to fun with parking seeing as I own more than 1 vehicle. My neighbors and I in my complex make it work. I just love Kris/Chris the apartment manager. It always a joy to see her. Any issue I've brought to her she has handled it. Heck, everytime I go to pay my rent I make it my business to speak and have a few kind words. Would of given a 5 but cause of the locate I gave a 4. This is the worst company to ever rent from do not rent from here save your time and money. They are very nice and a wonderful staff when you want to look at their properties but the minute you sign that lease it is something totally different they are not willing to work with you and in order for you to pay your rent online it's $3 every time they have to charge you so it's your rent plus 3 if you have it set up for auto payment it's $10 plus your rent the cheap way to pay your rent is to go to Walmart and get a money order for like $0.74. When I did my walk-through of the property that I did decide to rent there was a foul smell in the house the lady that was doing the walk through said well the house has been vacant for a while we recently steam clean the carpets so it was kind of like a stale home okay cool not that really big of a problem we continue to do a walk through the people that they had working at the house had use the spare bathroom several times they urinated in the toilet with the water off and you can definitely tell that they have used it more than once the lady was so embarrassed that that was there I will take care of it not a big problem we'll have that totally clean before you move in before you sign your lease the day I sign my lease the lady was absolutely rude I asked her if we could do it in the morning and not the afternoon because I had to drive back to Arkansas for my child to go to school that was a big problem for her she looked at me and said you should be grateful that I'm here signing the lease in the morning because I wanted to go shopping so I figured I do my shopping in the afternoon are you kidding me I should have backed out then but I needed a place to rent for me and my kids my husband is active duty we came from San Diego to be closer to family while my husband is gone. So upon moving and of course you do your own cleaning of the house regardless if they clean it or not there was the foul smell again so we thought it was a gas leak called The Gas Company gas company said no it's not a gas leak your good I do smell the smell you need to contact a pest control company to see if there's a dead rodent in the fireplace okay cool not a problem contacted the pest control company they said no that smell is definitely not a dead rodent there are no dead rodents in your fireplace this is cat urine the pest control company even pointed it out that it is in the carpet to the subfloor. On May 1st I put a work order in to have the racks fixed into the closet they would not come and fix it because other tenants AC unit stopped working I get it it's hot here in Tennessee so in July he came to fix the closet June 16th I put a work order in for the cat in urine because the cat urine is now causing health problems my migraines are in full effect which I haven't had a migraine in a year my son has asthma and it's starting to affect him a little bit not too much and I have a 2 year old who likes to run around on the carpet so I have to stop my 2 year-old from running around on the carpet it because there's cat urine this is completely unacceptable. I would follow up about the cat urine all we have to wait for the landlord to call us to see what to do about it I got that answer several times on July the 3rd when I went to go pay my rent I was told we're still waiting for the landlord so back to July when the guy came to fix the closet he said nothing to me about where the smell is can you please show me nothing when I called July 21st for a follow up on the cat urine I was told that when the maintenance man came in to fix the closet he didn't notice the smell so he wrote the work order off. Due to him not smelling a smell don't you think he should have asked me so I could have shown him according to the company no he didn't have to ask me. I was told that they will put in another work order and email the manager. Well with the answer of the maintenance man not smelling it and him writing off the work order leaves me to believe that they haven't even contacted the landlord. So on July 21st I contacted the city of Jackson and reported the issue to them since Phoenix Property Management LLC does not want to fix the issue so I will keep you updated when the city comes out next week to look at it and start an investigation my recommendation for anybody looking to rent from this company run run as fast as you can. read more
