Another Fantastic experience @ Phoenix Farmers Market in Phoenix, OR. !! I used to frequent this gem of a place quite often and I'm glad to return! They make the best homemade salsa and soup in the surrounding area!! It's worth the drive and not too far out of the way. Forewarning, the salsa is on the sweeter side, per se, and I usually get 'medium' but they also have 'hot'. I've never had anything like it, it's sooo good. They have just about anything you'd want from a farmers market and my pictures don't really do it justice. And guess what, they're open 6 days a week!! The owner still makes her mouth-watering assortment of soups, but now-a-days instead of having them steaming hot in crock pots for patrons to scoop their desired amount, they are prepackaged and frozen for all to enjoy when it suits them. She says they are even more popular than before. It looks like the same modest place as before, very inviting, and well stocked. I'm thankful we have places like this around! The best produce, a well rounded selection of packaged and dairy foods, and run by a friendly family - I love this store and was particularly happy with the care they took durinv the pandemic. That shows that they value their customers. Established in the 1950s, it is not a growers market (Phoenix has one of those too) but a charming indoor-outdoor market, country style. read more

Nice little market off highway 99. They have a variety of organic and non organic fruits, vegetables, leafs and roots. I bought a pound of grapes here recently and they were a bit disappointing. They were of the welch brand and they were not crisp to the bite. They were soggy and did not have the crisp/crunch of a grape. Idk if this is due to the market leaving them out and not having them in a fresh humid environment but i would avoid buying the welch grapes here. Other produce might stand the Rogue Valley heat a bit better. The market inside is quaint. They have little bulk bins of spices etc. They have ethnic products of Asian and latino. The products that aren't produce are quite expensive and you might find a cheaper deal at other natural product stores. read more

Great Snall Fresh Produce and groceries. I have lived nearby for seven years and love this roadside stand with a nice selection of fresh produce and a few select groceries including homemade salsa. I have found the staff to be helpful and they have gone out of their way to find something that was ripe for me and sometimes gave to me at a reduced price near the end of the day. Remember they are NOT open on Sundays right now. This hopefully may change soon. read more

I work down the street from this place and the soup is hands down the best thing here. It keeps me eating healthy all winter instead of eating subway or pizza. Not all the soup combinations seem immediately appetizing... some require a bit of imagination but I promise you will never be steered wrong. All of them are delicious. I especially love the split pea with yams and kale OMG! I like selection for a small store. It has a good amount of basics while also offering some really different and exciting things. I love that they carry the risingsun farms tortes. If you have never stopped in DO. My only complaint is no soup in the summer. I would eat her soup year round. read more

I live one block from the market on Hwy 99, and this is the only place I buy my produce. the very best produce at the very best price. Local farms supply the FRESH produce, with some exceptions. Full line of eggs, candy, and on and on a rather large supermarket selection along with tons of fresh produce, home made soups, herbs, spices in bulk and much more. read more

Where I come from, a Farmers Market means ORGANIC or at least produce grown with no pesticides. These people offer almost nothing in that category. It would be very convenient to shop there for me, but I pass it by because of that AND the fact that the few times I've tried to shop there the service has not been welcoming. I live 200 feet from Framers Market, and that is a plus. A friendly oriental couple own the market and treats you like family. Fresh fruit and veggies from LOCAL farms, no more supermarket produce that has sat around a while. The Phoenix Fern Valley Exchange off ramp puts you minutes away to the VERY best fruit and veggies in Southern Oregon. Open 7 days a week, they take EBT cards, credit cards, and yes, cash too. If you want all the special things an outdoor farmers market has plus a small market, with gluten free products this is your place. Helpful, friendly,staff and the produce was to die for.... Washington cherries were outstanding, and they recently received Oregon raspberries. This is a must stop in the Medford area. read more

I love the ambiance here. While it doesn't have all organic, it has some and while it is not all local produce, it has some. It also has some products you don't find in the chain stores. In the winter they have great soup that they make on site. and....if you are after fresh basil they often have some in the back...so ask if you don't see any.! read more

I've been a long time customer at this farmers market. I purchase a lot I produce there. Yesterday a $2.99 box of blackberries was missing from my bag after I left, so today I went back to get it. The owner lady, argued with me and refused to replace it! This is a horrible way to treat valued customers. I'm so disappointed, and I will not shop there ever again. Very poor customer service, and horrible way to treat customers. Shame on you! read more

I must agree w/ Roy S, who first reviewed this market. We have stopped here many times over the years to buy produce and I like the mix of local fruit and vegetables along w/ produce grown elsewhere. It's a traditional roadside market rather than a farmers market w/ individual stands. The produce here is less cosmetically perfect than at Harry and David's a few miles down the road. This produce reminds me of the Harry and David's of the old days, when it was housed in the shed and the stuff they sold was slightly imperfect and utterly delicious. Prices are also very reasonable. Today I bought Washington cherries, local peaches and nectarines and was tempted by baskets of tiny, beautiful locally grown cherry tomatoes. I'm thinking this market may have changed hands in the past few years because the packaged goods are more varied, interesting and healthy than they used to be. There are organic foods, teas, bulk dried fruit and nuts, grains and cereals. There are artisan chocolate bars and packaged candies, ginger and otherwise. read more

I have shopped here for over 25 years but have been out of town for the past 6 years. Stopped in this week for some Frontier Soup Broth powder and ended up buying two full grocery bags full of beautiful vegetables and fruit. I love this place and look forward to moving back to the area so I can shop here all the time. Jung keeps the store spotless and the produce fresh. No better place to get good value on fresh produce.
