My brother referred my mother to Francisco Sirvent at Keystone Law Firm, for her divorce case…read more Francisco said that he hired a family law attorney who has 10 years of experience and she will help us with the case. Susan Pintel, the family law attorney, missed a MAJOR deadline for exhibits and witnesses. Mrs. Pintel verbally agreed with both my mother and I during our initial meeting that as long as we give her the list of witnesses and exhibits by the end of the day on Monday, then she will file them. Mrs. Pintel did not file the documents as promised. After asking Mrs. Pintel about the missed deadline, she responded with, "there was a lot of moving parts." Mrs. Pintel, and Francisco Sirvent both said that missing the deadline for Exhibits and Witnesses would "not be a big deal." That's horrible to hear from a law firm. After more delays and failures to communicate from Keystone Law Firm, and a shady request for more money after never receiving monthly invoices as promised, my mother fired Keystone Law Firm. Fast forward to trial, and the "not a big deal" turned out to be a huge deal. The judge did not allow my mother to use her exhibits or witnesses during her trial because Mrs. Pintel missed the deadline, and my mother's case was completely ruined. Francisco sent my mother an invoice 2-3 weeks after we requested our money back, and Keystone Law Firm used even MORE money after we fired them. Another $1,500!!. After emailing Francisco about how ridiculous this is, he didn't respond. I will never refer a family member, or any of my clients to this firm, nor should you use them for your legal needs.

I cannot warn you enough to stay FAR away from this law firm!!!…read moreI fled an abusive marriage with my two children and was incredibly traumatized. I was VERY naive, and unfortunately hired Aaron after recommendation from a friend of a friend... who later admitted they only recommended Aaron bc he got a referral fee. I had bad feelings about Aaron very shortly into the nightmare that is family court but his paralegal, Laura kept talking him up non stop anytime I would voice my concerns.. and against my better judgement I kept Aaron as my lawyer through the trial bc we were so far into it... and Laura kept assuring me that I would be blown away once we were in court by Aaron's performance Ha! Our case should've been an easy slam dunk and any 1st year law student could've came back with a better ruling than Aaron got me. Even Aaron admitted the Judge's rulings were "aggrecious" yet refused to take ANY responsibility for the dozens of mistakes and absolutely horrendous job he did "representing" me during our trial. Instead they sent even more bills and never responded when I questioned the assanine charges. I literally did not feel like Aaron was "on my side" at any point which is a horrible way to feel with your lawyer while you're on the stand. If Aaron knew this judge was about to retire and was so awful- why wouldn't he have pushed for a new judge? Aaron completely took advantage of my situation for over a year, wrote endless emails to the other side fighting back and forth in some sort of pissing match with the other lawyer getting absolutely ZERO resolved and We were forced to go to trial which was a DISASTER. Aaron was a cold, emotionless robot who couldn't have cared less about me, my situation or my children. He exhibited Zero empathy throughout the whole case and zero regard for how dearly his failure as a lawyer has cost us. Literally could've had the tens of thousands I gave to Aaron back, I could've had a down payment on a house and a place for my boys and I to live instead of being homeless for months while my ex stole all of our community funds. Honestly- Hiring Aaron was my biggest regret in life (next to marrying my ex). Now that After 2 years into this I am FINALLY divorced (as of this month) it is no thanks to Aaron. After spending tens of thousands of dollars (I didn't have), I then had to hire another lawyer (Yvette Ansel-who is incredible) and actually has a soul (unlike Aaron) who is an emotionless robot that overcharges for literally doing nothing but pushing papers... Yvette finally got me the divorce and over the past several months we have been to court multiple times to attempt to reverse horrible financial rulings that Aaron got me. An absolute NIGHTMARE. Stay far away from this firm!!!!

I hired Joseph Stead & Associates to help my elderly uncle, who is in a nursing home, to set up a…read moretrust. When I had an initial conversation with their rep, Doug, who is not an attorney and has no legal background, he assured me that the attorney, Joseph Stead, would go to visit my uncle to review with him how he wanted his estate to be distributed and also go see him to explain all the final documents with him as he was executing them. The events that transpired since that initial consultation were nothing short of complete incompetence and negligence. This includes: - They tried to get ME to sign my uncle's engagement letter. They emailed it to me to sign instead of going to visit him and have him sign it. I never signed it. - Nobody from the firm ever visited with my uncle during the whole process. - They, on several occasions, asked me to fill out the questionnaire dictating how his assets were to be distributed. As someone that is a potential beneficiary, this should never have been done and is a severe conflict of interest. It is not my role to have anything to do with this decision making. I told them this and accordingly, never filled out these questionnaires. - The only person at the firm that had any interaction with my uncle was this guy Doug, which consisted of about 15 minutes of phone conversation. Remember, Doug was not an attorney or paralegal and had no education in law. This was the extent of time that was spent with him to explain the trust and establish how it was to be distributed. - The context of this 15 minutes of conversation was sent out in an email to the attorney, Joseph Stead, where he said "I do want to confirm that he (Uncle) did tell me twice now that (the nephew) was to make all of the decision for his assets and who gets what. I specifically asked (uncle) that if (nephew) decided to keep everything for himself or if he decided to give it all away to 100 strangers, you would be ok with that and he said yes." THIS WAS THE EXTENT OF HIS CONVERSATION. In essence, he wrote the trust to give me everything. This was not my uncle's wishes, but it sure made everything easy for this attorney. It was all fabricated! - My uncle NEVER had any interaction with an actual attorney. - Doug told me in an email that I had Power of Attorney (POA), which was literally impossible. How could I have POA when my uncle never signed any documents. It was a flat out lie. - The attorney, Joseph Stead, then told me to have a notary execute the documents. Remember, in the initial consultation they said that the attorney would meet with him to talk to him about how everything worked and go through how he wanted his estate distributed, then review all the documents with him as they were being executed. Evidently, he never had any intention of ever meeting with my uncle. - When I talked to Joseph Stead and told him that I was cancelling his services because everything was done incorrectly, he refused to refund the money paid. The only person from the firm that had any interaction with my uncle was this non-attorney, Doug, who spends 15 minutes on the phone with him. Then they have an admin insert my uncle's name in the template and that is the extent of effort they put into creating this trust. The way these people operated was very sleazy and their incompetence was present throughout their pathetic attempt to create a trust for my uncle. STAY AWAY!!!
