The last time I came they served my meal and then about 15 minutes went by before they delivered the meals of my dining companions. I complained and the bill was adjusted. Thinking this was a one off, I confidently came back today. This time 2 of the 3 meals arrived. Inexplicably, the 3rd meal did not turn up (even though it was identical to one of the other orders). When the 3rd meal arrived, 10 minutes later, we realized the 2 identical meals were identically cold. Not, "they sat at our table for 10 minutes" cold. But, "they must have come from the fridge" cold. We complained and initially they said it wasn't cold. (sigh) Another 15 minutes wait for warm meals to arrive. Now, I sit here feeling like we are being punished. No one has come back to our table - no replenishment of our water, no delivery of the check, and no take out containers for what we did not finish. What is wrong here. Do I come back and try my luck for a 3rd time in a row???

There was a change in ownership awhile ago and now when I stop by for a meal or just takeout, I am surprised they are so quiet. The fact there is no real parking except for 3 spaces in front may account for some of that. Overall rating: 4/5. Food - very good. This owner and the chef has definitely taken it up many notches. The beef noodle broth is very much improved - very beefy but light. Enjoyed it greatly. The vermicelli with grilled chicken / spring rolls was a bit over average. Thinking maybe a bit more of a grill and some grill marks on the chicken would improve the dish. Also, it's heard to make a vermicelli dish really stand out. Service - the lady was very efficient and very nice to deal with. 10/10 for the service. Parking - this is the one reason I can see for this place being so quiet. With so many other places with parking nearby, it is definitely a mark on the "skip" side. But I am glad I forged ahead and got the noodle soup and vermicelli. It was def worth the small walk from the parking lot 1/2 block away.

It was a very good portion and the broth was light and clear. The vegetables were mostly broccoli, carrots, and small bits of cauliflower. The wontons were nice. The majority of the orders were online orders. Every second, a delivery driver would walk in to do a pick up order. I guess the neighborhood really likes this place.

They cooked for Canadians and non-Vietnamese. The food is horrible and so is the service. The waitresses weren't friendly and once they put the food down you don't see them anymore. After reviewing the online menu I decided to check the place out with my family last night. My family ordered a variety of rice/noodle dishes with the usual rolls as appetizers and thought everything tasted good but with portions on the smaller side. I appreciate the large variety of items on their menu and would definitely be back to try more things. Note: they are doing a 10% off promo until Dec 15 for their grand opening!

I wanted soup / something different from all the other food I've been having ( afternoon tea, Italian, breakfast food), found this thanks to Uber eats! People generally don't seem to Yelp much in these area: sometimes places are long gone when I show up etc. Same with this spot: menu wasn't updated but luckily ubereats had it. Orders their spicy chicken bowl ( lemongrass flavor) with rice and also their Sate chicken noodle soup with egg noodles. Finding this place and also finding parking was half the battle. Super busy area! After I took it back to my hotel, I discovered they've sent me home with a chicken bowl with vermicelli noodles. Normally I'd be ok with it but I didn't like those noodles. I went back for it. At first, they weren't sure. They thought I meant to ask for a whole new bowl. But once they found out ( picture evidence), they were more than nice about it to replace it with a rice. Or give me a side order of rice. Basil the guy at the front and also the one in the kitchen: blonde hair guy were super apologetic. Also offered me a drink on the house! So nice. I took their Vietnamese ice coffee: even though it was late. Super caffeinated and super tasty. Ambiance was quite nice too inside. If I haven't done the takeout already: I'd dine in! And the food: both dishes were delicious! The chicken bowl came with amazing spring rolls: I tend to skip fried rolls in favor of fresh rolls or skip them all together in general. But these were divine! The sate soup was tasty too. Too bad I don't live anywhere near Calgary to try more dishes. But definitely coming back next time I'm in Calgary! 5 stars all around.
