CHARGES FOR WATER The food was pretty good (but the soup for the pho noodle was a bit salty), but I was surprised that they charged 25 kroner for regular iced water. Not from a bottle or anything, just tap water. Maybe I should order a real drink next time for my money's worth. The overall environment is quite cozy, but really small and it's best to make reservations first. We were lucky that we got a seat because a couple after us were asked to check back later. Overall the food came quickly, but I still haven't gotten over the fact that I paid around $4 for tap water. read more

SALTY BUT FLAVORFUL. I decided to stop by after a long flight from ATL to Århus. This place is located on a major road within the city center. It was an easy walk from all the local hotels (I stayed at the Radisson). Walking in during dinner time@18.00, it was quite busy and with limited space. I would HIGHLY recommend making reservations if you are more than a party of two. Luckily, I was just by myself so I was able to situate myself at the bar along with a radio journalist from Cologne, Germany named Jana. I had ordered the pho special (making it a mission of mine to taste pho of the world), duck goi cuon, and the house lemonade. I barely put any condiments in my pho because it was already so flavorful. The goi cuon was also tasty as well. It was nicely balanced with a sweetness from the lemonade. Wish the portions were a bit more but it was just the right amount. This place was great! Very authentic and with a cozy environment. read more

This recently opened joint is pretty much the first Vietnamese place in Aarhus that I've come across whose pho tastes anything like what you can get in decent Vietnamese restaurants in the US. Really hit the spot and city is long overdue for a place like this. It's family run and the round table in the center in pretty much always occupied by the owners' kid playing on his ipad. Interior is no-fuss and no frills, simple but clean and elegant. Customers are mostly Vietnamese, some Danes, and myself... I probably have gone at least once a week since discovering it a few weeks after it opened. I have since also brought almost everyone I know in Aarhus. True to its name, their main and best entree is their pho. For a more authentic banh mi, I would recommend Taste Mi in Vesterbro Torv (they have pork pâté!) It's surprising that a place like this hasn't opened up sooner given the sizable amount of Vietnamese in Denmark. Interestingly, the Chinese/pan-Asian restaurants in the center such as Kowloon are mostly run by the Vietnamese and the Japanese places/sushi buffets are mostly owned by the Chinese. Pho C&P is an extremely welcome addition to Aarhus, especially it prepares for its European Culture Capital title in 2017 and I will continue patronizing because, frankly, it's the only authentic and reasonably priced place I've come across in a while here. read more

This is a cute little Vietnamese restaurant with very delicious Pho. We were traveling in Denmark and were craving some good Asian food and were so glad to find this place. It can get quite crowded on the weekends since the place is relatively small so may be a good idea to make a reservation ahead of time. The staff is very friendly and the food comes very fast. We all ate and left very satisfied. read more
