Established in 2000.
Coming to Denmark in the 90s, Jackie & his family started Kowloon with a sincere thought of bringing good food from Asia to the community in Aarhus. Gathering the savings and traditional cooking recipes secrets within the family, they opened the first boutique restaurant at Banegårdsgade 33, Aarhus C. Their food was widely welcomed by the local community. Thanks to the customers' support, Kowloon boutique restaurant has been contiuously ranked as the top place for authentic Asian food in Aarhus and recommended on SmagAarhus, TripAdvisor, etc. In 2016, the restaurant was awarded as Byens Bedste in Aarhus by AOA.
Though the 2nd Kowloon restaurant has been opened in Frederiksgade to serve the customers with a larger space, many people are still coming back to the boutique Kowloon Banegårdsgade to enjoy the authentic Asian taste in the cozy place where it all started.

Though the 2nd restaurant Kowloon has been opened to serve customers with a larger space, the main & original chef, Jackie, choose to work at Kowloon Banegaardsgade 33 due to his personal attachment at this place where it all began.
