I've said it before and I'll say it again... Phils Pies... Yumdiddlyumptious!
Great selection, yummy homemade style pies, pasties, sausage rolls and assorted pastries and cakes... but his pies are yum!
He also has an outlet in Croydon, but we go to his shop in Parkhill Plaza, Berwick, Victoria.
I've eaten pies all over the world and I am partial to a good curry pie and a good sausage roll, and I do love Phil's.
Sure I've eaten some really exotic and outlandish pies and some of them have been bizarre and some wow. I like the pies at the 'Pie in the Sky' in Olinda in the Dandenong ranges in Victoria, and I used to like the pies from the 'Yatala Pie shop' in Yatala, Queensland. I've had pies in the USA, Canada and the UK, and strangely enough even in Asia, but in my book, I still think Phil's are the best.
The only pies I think might be better, are the homemade pies I and my wife bake ourselves, but that's just my opinion of course, and even then, I always compare them to Phil's... strange I know, but once you find a good pie, it's hard not to!
