They have a few locations in Los Angeles. Just go to their website, and email them if they are able to take your insurance. They respond pretty fast by email. You can set up an appt through email. I went to the location in Chinatown. There is street parking but you can also park across the street, the dentist will validate your ticket. The doctor I had was really friendly and kind. There are some reviews that had a different doctor than the one I had receieved because they went on the weekend. There are a new set of crew that work the weekends vs the weekday. Doctor is very kind. After I finished my 'surgery', I paid in cash. I forgot to ask for a receipt so I emailed them the next day and they sent me an invoice the same day!

My visit to this dental kept me wondering how people like Dr AMIAR HEMMATI is able to operate anywhere as a dentist on earth. He treats and talks to you like your whole life depends on him. very wicked and uncompassionate. I was crying and in serious pain during an extraction and he opened his smelling mouth to say I was crying for nothing and that he was doing me a favor. I asked why I was experiencing so much pain, he angrily replied If I was questioning his license. Oh, my goodness. Such a money conscious and heartless individual shouldn't work in any medical Feild. My 1st tooth extraction was done at a different dental, and it went very smoothly. 2nd extraction with this QUACK AMIAR and he turned the whole process into a butcher or even a war zone. He put a big hole in my chic and a flesh has been dangling out of position. Wickedness in human form.

He looks at everything carefully, catches problems early, and clearly explains what needs to be done and why. I also love that everything can be handled in one place -- from regular treatment to more complicated work like implants. The quality of care is excellent, the pricing is fair and transparent, and I never feel pressured into unnecessary treatment. The office is also very clean and well maintained, which makes me feel comfortable every time I'm there. The staff is helpful, organized, and stays on top of appointments, insurance, billing, and follow-ups. After dealing with so many dental issues, it's a huge relief to finally have one office I can trust from beginning to end. Definitely recommend.

I also appreciate how they provide a quote with the pricing estimates before we begin procedures, which is very helpful with managing expectations. The dental hygienist is the best I have ever had! She is thorough, but quick, and careful, so I never feel any pain. Dr. Lee is great, he always says hello and makes me feel welcome and comfortable. I just had a crown replacement, and it went smoothly. Dr. Lee also showed me my X-rays to help me gain a better understanding of the problem areas and even pictures of the procedure for my filling! That was a cool experience. If you want high-quality care, I highly recommend!

I had a crown placed here about a year ago that immediately had noticeable gray discoloration. When…read moreI went back, I was told to get it bleached -- but they didn't offer bleaching at the time and referred me out. Two other dentists advised against drilling into a new crown and said it should be replaced by the original dentist at no cost since I had just got it done. After months of back-and-forth, this office finally offered bleaching in-house. I was told that if bleaching didn't fix it, they would replace the crown at no cost. I paid $120 for bleaching, and while it slightly improved the color, the discoloration is still visible. When it came time to replace it, they changed their position and said they would have to charge DOUBLE what I originally paid because insurance wouldn't cover a crown on the same tooth and I was slightly outside a year -- even though the delay was caused by their runaround. So despite their original promise to replace it if the bleaching didn't correct the color they were now charging me more than the original crown. The front desk is overall nice, but - it's just a very unprofessional dental office and It's also in a horrible part of DTLA. DO NOT RECOMMEND - go somewhere else.

He always did an absolutely fabulous job and is a good dentist. I'm also a huge scaredy cat and Dr. Park and staff were always super patient, friendly, and understanding with me! He's also treated many of my family members including my sister, mom, and dad. My dad actually went back here recently which is why I noticed that my original review disappeared for some reason... Unfortunately I had to go to a different dentist when Dr. Park was on vacation or there was some scheduling issue I don't quite remember the exact reason, but I unfortunately haven't been able to make my way back here since because the new dentist I go to schedules future appointments each visit and I've just been too busy/lazy to break the cycle and move back to DTLA Smile, but I'm sure I'll eventually find my way back here. Thanks Dr. Park for always doing such a great job and for taking great care of my Dad!

Weaponized Sloppiness…read more Horrific. Both myself and my daughter were mortified at the desperation. My daughter described a multi level sales scheme that involved a bogus VIP membership, hundreds of dollars in product gimmicks, and more than $20k in upsells. I tried to extend the benefit of the doubt. My experience was similarly disappointing**. Further, the dentist (Dr. Hanel?) was the worst one. I already had aligners; daughter had braces. Great experiences with former providers. Thought we might switch to a closer location than previous provider, but this all turned out to be a colossal waste of time. Oh, they did provide a 3D scan with Xrays, but my main dentist said most of it was poorly done and difficult to read which means that not only do we have to commute a longer distance for quality care but I'll now have to sit through all that again. Note to provider: Be mindful of HIPAA in your response. **Informed consent doctrine (Cobbs v. Grant, 8 Cal.3d 229). California requires that patients be informed of all reasonable treatment alternatives, not just the one the provider prefers. Also worth noting: Chart failed to meet AAP documentation standards for treatment staging. This kind of weaponized sloppiness is what separates the newly licensed (recent grad, less than 3yrs for CA) from the seasoned professional.

Cosmetic Dentist Review-- Porcelain Veneers. Dr. Feng has…read moregreat reviews that I agree with and I could go on and write a whole review on him alone, so I will try not to repeat anything already said in other reviews and instead share my experience getting porcelain veneers with him as the lack of yelp reviews on his cosmetic dentistry does not indicate a lack of quality. There were a lot of risky jumps during this process in which had to place my trust in him and the fact that he repeatedly and consistently stepped up to the plate so to speak and relieved the fears of risk speaks to his quality and character. In all honesty, I rushed into the process and instantly signed on with Dr. Feng for my smile transformation. He just seemed honest and reliable and assured me that if any of my fears came to unfold, he would personally address the issue. Not to mention, when I went in for a consultation, a long time client of his voluntarily raved about his experiences with him while we were waiting in the lobby. I pay for college on my own and I told him my budget. He was respectful of my budget and did not try to push me into anything that I did not need. I was surprised that he thought I needed less work than I did, and he probably could have persuaded me to take out loans and do extra work if he wanted. Instead of an exploitative scheme, I was presented with extreme generosity, empathy, and patience. He was so gracious to offer complementary services in order to ensure a complete smile transformation experience for me and empathized with my position as a college student seeking confidence to enter the professional world. Our plan was to use porcelain veneers for my first four teeth, leave room for either composite or porcelain veneers for the next four later on in the year when I could better afford it. He also took on the additional personal risk of splitting my payments up just so that it was less of a financial burden on me at once. On my second visit, we discussed my future smile and prepped my teeth. I came in on a Saturday and felt that I was offered the full afternoon to mull over my smile if I had wanted; he did not seem burdened by my questioning and time spent deciding. In all honesty, with the smile design process, I've seen online seem more thorough in a technical sense and client-directed that mine was. However, this is actually beneficial since I did not know exactly what I wanted and Dr. Feng works with a local designer where the philosophy is that the designer has developed an intuition for what would fit best on each individual (and the definitely delivered!). It's less of "I want my central incisor to be exactly 10 mm in from my left eyeball and the tip forming a 30 degree angle with the edge of earlobe" -although you could do that and rulers were definitely brought out for my design--and more of "this is the look I'm going for and here are my preferences. This is what I want to change. This is what I like about my smile".I wanted to keep my front gap, as a character trait, and fix the other spacing issues of my top teeth We created a trace of what my teeth would look like and he involved me on the order sent to the designer with all the different customizations and attached pictures of my teeth. The prepping was probably the most terrifying part to me, but when I went in for my consultation the weeks prior, his wife just had her teeth prepped and I was able to see how non-invasive it was. My teeth were polished and shaped more rectangularish as to provide the best base for the veneer (picture included). My teeth were already small, they did not get ground down like for a crown or anything, just the surface was thinned so the veneers did not make my teeth look bulky when placed. He did not have me wear temporaries which I had seen as a common experience for other people online. He said they would probably make my teeth look more awkward than just having them prepped which seemed to be the experience of other people I researched, some even having to remove the temporaries from discomfort or having them break. It did cut my lip up some during the week since the surface is sort of scratchy so the veneers have something to stick to. In the whole process- the only pain was from a numbing injection before the teeth prep. So I was worried that he did not use temporaries at first but his assurances to me all were validated by the time placement came around. There is not much I can say about placement other than it was quick and easy and that I love my veneers. I am so thankful to Dr. Feng for making the smile I have wanted all my life a reality. I smile all the time now and I feel as though my personality it enhanced. I feel much more comfortable being my goofy, laughing self and more confident presenting myself professionally. Words really cannot express my appreciation for his generosity so I hope this review can help. Thanks a ton!!
