This pilot is actually located on a funky location in proximity to getting off the interstate. It's really small, and the bathrooms weren't what I'd expect from a Pilot at all. While they weren't the worst I've seen but , it wasn't what I expected from Pilot in general. The cashier that helped me was incredibly friendly though, and the inside of the store itself was clean. The 3 stars comes from the bathroom situation.

I told the clerk and her response was "the urinal is stained, we've scrubbed and scrubbed. She also said that it leaks... (obviously, pun intended). The clerk then rudely said "men don't know how to pee in the urinal" and I said "some employees clearly don't know how to clean the restroom". Judging by her personal hygiene, cleaning that toilet isn't at the top of her list of priorities. If only I could capture the smell via photo.

There were 2 guys exchanging something for cash and then going inside a car. The parking lot was full of trash and the store interior didn't seem as clean and well organized as other locations of this chain. I could not get away from here quick enough.

I arrived and paid for the processing and a young lady retrieved the cardboard box with my deer and I asked about my cooler. She then located the cooler and as I began to transfer the packages to the cooler I noticed that the handle was missing. So, I ended up paying for the processing and the destruction of a perfectly good cooler. Next year I will purchase a meat grinder and do my own processing. I have been here before and I have purposely avoided eating anything there. You walk in and it is apparent that this place has not been cleaned in a long time.

I live down the street and frequent it often. They do great with the fresh made food and pastries. Always have a good selection of fountain and bottle/can drinks. Friendly staff who always keep cheer even if they're working Christmas or Thanksgiving. I've never had any problems with the gas pump. As good of a Kum & Go as any.

Thus with the money I saved, I went inside for something I wanted. When on long trips as a kid, I was given a Coke (12 oz glass bottle) and a Payday. When deployed in the Army, I'd pack a few mini cans of Coke and a handful of Paydays to remind me of better times. Now days, if on a long trip, during refuel, I get a Coke and a Payday. It always makes me smile. This big Red has EVERYTHING, (fresh grapes and melon chunks, light maintenance items for your car, fried chicken to help keep your belt tight, dozens of flavors of water, pizza, donuts, chips and chips and more chips, dog food, diapers, hand sanitizer, kid toys, headache stuff, runny nose items for colds, allergies and flu, pre-made sandwiches, canned foods, ice cream upset stomach medicine and toilet paper).
